In My Professor's Arms

In My Professor's Arms

she announces triumphantly. The afternoon sun climbs higher. The apartment grows warmer. We decide to cook one final meal together. The kitchen comes alive with the scent of garlic and fresh herbs. We chop vegetables side by side. Sophie turns the whole thing into glorious chaos. She tosses spices into the pan like she’s conducting an orchestra. We end up with a spicy stir-fry that makes my tongue tingle with heat.

Accidentally Contracted To The Billionaire CEO

Accidentally Contracted To The Billionaire CEO

And who knows, maybe she'll be impressed. The eggs, they mock me. Here I am, valiantly attempting to whisk them into a frothy frenzy, when Paul's call comes in because timing is everything. Now I'm torn between two daunting tasks: not ruining dinner and not sounding like a blithering idiot on the phone. The cookbook beside me is my dirty little secret, a testament to my gastronomic ineptitude. I'm not ready for Brielle to witness this spectacle, so I'll just have to wing it, phone in one hand, spatula in the other.

Chase Me Ex Husband

Chase Me Ex Husband

Chapter Thirty-Five: I hate her The next morning, a heavy silence hovered in the mansion. Sunlight spilled through the long windows, casting golden streaks across the marble floors. Alissa walked into the kitchen early, tying her robe tighter around her waist. Her hair was still damp from the shower, her face bare of any makeup. What she didn’t expect was Shane standing by the stove, cooking something. He was reading a cookbook on the counter as he went along. Alissa recognized the book right away—it was the one Shane had given her as part of her birthday gift three years ago, when she’d started cooking classes so she could cook for him and, occasionally, his grandfather.

Taming My Arrogant Husband

Taming My Arrogant Husband

But he quickly pushed the feeling away, locking it down behind the cold, guarded wall he was so accustomed to. Clearing his throat, he forced a neutral expression and walked toward her. "What are you doing?" Scarlett jumped a little, turning around to see him. The surprise on her face quickly faded, replaced by an eyebrow raised in mild confusion. "Cooking," she replied, her tone clipped but polite. "Is that a problem?" Storm’s gaze flickered over her as he crossed his arms, trying to maintain his usual detached demeanor. "It’s just… you never cook." Scarlett turned back to the stove, stirring the pan as she shrugged. "Sometimes I like to do things I don’t usually do. You’re not the only one

Spoil Me Again: My Billionaire Husband Forgot Me

Spoil Me Again: My Billionaire Husband Forgot Me

After searching I finally found something but unfortunately things didn't go as I expected. Even though it looked pretty easy over the phone, Cooking was harder than running a business. I ended up ruining the Salmon and the rice was nothing to write home about and the kitchen was completely ruined.. “ What's going on here!” I turned around in shock when I heard Kristen's voice but he suddenly hurried towards the stove and turned off the oven immediately while I bit down on my bottom lip in shame… “ Are you stupid? Do you wanna burn down the whole place!?” He half yelled at me while covering his nose because the fish which was in the pan went up in flames and that triggered the sprinkler syst

Storm Of Legend

Storm Of Legend

"This is incredible." Tasha nodded, but her eyes were focused on something else. She sat down on the bed and brought out a book from under her pillow, and then glanced back at Storm with a n unreadable expression. “Why are your eyes purple?” She whispered, clutching the book to her chest. Storm frowned at the question. “Genetics” She replied with a shrug although she knew it was deeper than that. She actually never knew the real meaning behind her eyes. But judging from the way her parents had always seemed to over react and hide it, Storm was sure that there was more to it.

Auctioned Bride Of The Cursed Alpha

Auctioned Bride Of The Cursed Alpha

“I should make breakfast. What do you want?” Just as Ivara parted her lips to answer, he waved her off. “Forget it, I'll figure it out.” He muttered, pulling out a small book from his pocket. An actual cookery book. He began flipping through it with a focused expression. “What is something you would like... let me see...” He turned a page. Turned another. His nose wrinkled. “None of this looks edible. Ewww. How do people eat this?” he kept reading. “I'd always pick hearts and souls over any of this. Honestly, I don't understand why —”

A Mate For The Lycan

A Mate For The Lycan

I didn't know what was wrong with him. We left the office and walked down the stairs together, Storm was lounging on the couch in a tank top and shorts, reading a novel, I took a closer look at the book and realized it was an erotica. She seemed so engrossed in the book, biting her lips as her eyes skimmed through the pages. I cleared my throat and she jumped in shock. Her cheeks turned rosy and she quickly shut the book. "C… Caleb, h…hi. I didn't know you were here. " She rubbed the back of her neck, blushing furiously.

My Alpha Mate Rejected Me: He Says I'm A Misfit

He turns immediately. I rush back to where George is sitting, pull him up, lifting him with the little strength I have left, and hurry after the inn owner, who doesn't even bother to check if I am following. Now in the kitchen with George, both of us exchanging looks, while seven kitchen staff stand behind us, watching closely, waiting to see what miracle I am about to perform. Slowly, I unzip my bag and bring out my recipe book. The first page I open reveals a soup recipe titled "Enchanted Stew of Plenty."

Alpha Team - The First To Fall

Alpha Team - The First To Fall

Really? ‘Werewolves? Really?’ my beast scoffs in my head. ‘Er… we have a hell of book down here. We packed if up with all the stuff in the kitchen that Rose asked for. Looks like a recipe book but is about three inches thick and weighs a fucking tonne. Bloody thing is wrapped in chains and has a lock on it too. I don't think even Gwynn's recipes warrant such extreme measures to keep them from prying eyes.’ I hear a loud thump from downstairs, which can only be the sound of the book Ryder spoke of, landing on the wooden dining table in the middle of the kitchen. That woman was one hell of a cook, no denying that.
