then lost it because of Caleb. I was spiraling, and I knew it, whiich meant one thing. Cook. When I’m pissed, I cook like I’m trying to battle my demons with diced onions and boiling oil. So I rushed to the kitchen and started cooking crazily. Shrimp pasta. Creamy chicken stew. Garlic butter naan from scratch. I roasted asparagus like it killed my dreams. I even baked lemon squares, dusting the tops with powdered sugar like snowfall over grief. By the time I was done, the kitchen looked like a food war zone.

Fake Vow, True Luna

“And I’ve got a chicken in the oven, and rice cooking as well.” “That’s… amazing, Nathan,” I said, walking over and peering into the oven to see a glistening chicken sitting on the rack, surrounded by vegetables. I furrowed my brow and looked up at Nathan with surprise on my face. “But why do all of this? You don’t have to go all out like that.” “I know, I know,” Nathan replied, wiping his hands on his apron. “But, check this out.” He paused, pulling out a cookbook from the drawer. It was titled ‘100 Recipes for Expecting Mothers’ and had an illustration of a pregnant woman on the front.

When Storm Meets Hail

When Storm Meets Hail

My body feeling light as a feather, I collapsed into the bed, a bit fuzzy. "If I could just sleep a little maybe?" I muttered gibberish to myself. The sky was dark when my eyes fluttered open, I checked my phone and it was a few minutes past eight, Lucas was still not back so I'd might be able to fix something up just in time for dinner. After an hour of brain racking and rummaging through the shelves and trying to come up with the best recipe. I settled for meatloaf and mashed potatoes with warm apple juice. The house was ridiculously quiet– Javier wasn't home.

DEADLY DEVOTION: KISS ME, KILL ME AND KISS ME AGAIN

DEADLY DEVOTION: KISS ME, KILL ME AND KISS ME AGAIN

CHAPTER 114 A full month had gone by. The storm had finally passed. The chaos, the close calls, the sleepless nights filled with fear and uncertainty… all of it now felt like a distant nightmare. The house was peaceful again. The sun poured into the kitchen like warm honey, slipping through the wide windows and stretching across the marble counters. But peace didn’t mean Alessandro’s mind was quiet. He stood before the stove, brows furrowed, eyes glued to the frying pan like it had personally offended him. A spatula in one hand, an open cookbook in the other, and a look of complete helplessness smeared across his gorgeous face.

He said holding out the book for emphasis Mary’s eyes widened, her eyes shining, her lips broke into a beautiful smile, she grabbed his hands in joy, shaking it vigorously, she was at a loss for words “Calm down, calm down, you don’t want anyone hearing of our deal right okay, “ She nodded happily “Now do we have a deal?” “Deal,” Mary said nodding her head happily, her hair bouncing She collected the cookbook from him in a hurry and flipped through a few pages, she pointed at the picture of a grand meal,” This one, this one, I want to cook this one” She would show that Evangeline that she could also be a good housewife and make Catherine accept her

The Alpha Wants Me: No-one rejects him but I did

The food melted in her mouth, “Did you make this?” “Who else would?” “It’s amazing, did not know that you could cook.” “There is a lot you don’t know about me.” “Obviously, we only dated for a month.” “One thing I know was the sex was good. They say you never forget your first.” Storm became annoyed by his response as he was talking nonsense and taunting her. “Why are you looking at me like that?” He tilted his head in amusement.

And moreover, I cover my face in embarrassment after realizing that Storm had caught us making out. I peeked through my fingers and saw Seth smirking. This little tease. I told to myself. "As much as I hate to disturb your little make-out session, you might wanna check whatever it is that you're cooking because I was sure I can smell something burning," Storm said as he raised his eyebrows, a glint of amusement showing in his eyes. "Ohh!" I said as I remember the cheese sauce that I was making. I turned around in panic and I forgot to use a potholder so I ended up touching the hot surface of the pan.

This story is enchanting, at the same time you need to know what’s next all the time . Such great twists and turns . I loved how you still didn’t say about whether or not if she was pregnant until the end . Such good a great plot and good writing

I enjoyed this book. I don’t know how much of the current “idols” are experiencing this in real life, having to sign contracts for a “no dating ban” but that kinda sucks. I hope there will be follow up books on the other pairs and some glimpses of Zaya and Seth’s future.

After The Storm.

After The Storm.

She explained about the syllabus and about the previous lessons. Mrs.Smith explained, "So we have already completed our last chapter. Today we are going to start a new poem named, 'After the Storm' by William Wordsworth." Then looking at Daisy, Mrs. Smith ordered, " Daisy Miller, will you read the poem loudly so that rest of the class can hear?" Daisy replied obediently, "Yes, Mrs. Smith." Then she started reciting the poem, standing in her place, in her silvery voice. The poem sounded like a melodious song in her sweet voice.

The fate of the Rejected Alpha

The fate of the Rejected Alpha

When she finished the book, her stomach growled and she could see through the library window that the sky had already gone dark. Putting the book back in its place, she leaves the room and climbs the stairs, entering the second floor. The smell makes her mouth salivate. With shy steps, she walks to the kitchen and finds Occisor sitting at the table. With only his plate. Occisor sees her and expects her to say something, but nothing comes out. How annoying, he thinks angrily and then takes the initiative. "The plates are over there. The meat is on the stove." "Alright." She walks and picks a plate. On the stove are three large pieces of meat. Her mouth fills with water, she has never eaten th

Forced to Marry My Late Mother's Husband

Forced to Marry My Late Mother's Husband

She pulled out a massive, beautifully bound hardcover book. It was Isabelle Voss's seminal cookbook. It was considered the most significant culinary text published in the last decade. Aurora slowly opened the heavy front cover. The thick paper smelled faintly of fresh ink and expensive binding glue. A short, handwritten message was scrawled across the title page in elegant black ink. "He chose the right one. Take care of him. He is terrible at being taken care of. — I.V." Aurora stood perfectly still at the center island. Her heart hammered against her ribs. She read the generous, devastating words twice. She closed the heavy book gently. She walked over to the wooden shelves and placed it s
