I repeated her. "Yes, Hyun Ki. Did you forget that Lord Inferno has a soul weapon in the form of a black scythe that can take out the spirit of life. I read about it in your personal library." Aphrodite explained that to me. "But I can't see the scythe on you, Lord Minami." Aphrodite's speech was disdainful, she looked at Minami and smiled again. "Don't tell me you couldn't pull the scythe out." "This girl is really annoying, I'll—"

“Scythe of the Seventh, come to your master.” From the darkness above, an even darker shape fell to the ground and I reached out to touch it. It felt cold to the touch and the shadow dissipates to reveal a huge scythe, several times taller than I am. I pick it up and swung it around, testing the weight. It feels a little bit heavy, but nothing that I can’t handle. I twirl it above my head and rush at him, sweeping low and going for his torso. A large hand clamped down on the scythe with incredible speed, jolting me forward into a fist. I block, but I feel my bones crack under the intense force.

Like I was electrocuted, I pushed him off me and also took a step back. "Erm...erm...," Well f*ck me because I had no idea what to say. My thoughts were all jumbled up and the only thing keeping me sane by the minute was the fact that I was staring straight ahead the cell and not into those confusing orbs. Lest I forget, why were their orbs so haunting? One minute both orbs of the brothers are beautiful, the next minute their scary and then a disaster. What the hell is going on?

They may not like me, but at least when they're near, other students can't kill me. Ahead of me, Rowan, Seyla, and Lyra, all link arms as they giggle in excitement. I slow my pace slightly to keep a distance. I don't want my sour mood to bring down theirs. I glance up at the night sky, and I gasp. I stop walking altogether as I take in the millions of stars lighting the sky. I almost forgot how beautiful the night sky is.

He’s confident, skilled in his craft and wicked with war scythe. Zane uses a war scythe to harvest the souls to bring back to Death. It’s where the whole concept of the grim reaper's image comes from in the human world. It’s because they took the idea from Zane’s coven. Of course, at the time, they didn’t know. They thought it was all made-up shit in stories. Zane’s war scythe is a badass. The top part of the blade has jimppings as the blade curves toward where it meets the staff; it has black bone-like fragments sticking from it. On the bottom of the staff, there is a badass-looking skull.

"Good luck. It's gone. The police are hunting you down. There is no escape." I hurled the scalpel, burying it in his shoulder. He collapsed, clutching the wound, but his eyes burned with defiance. I stalked over and ripped the blade out. "I never plan to leave alive. I've got plenty of time to make you talk. You're loaded and famous. Why stoop to this?" By the second stab, Robert broke, revealing the other kidney's fate. Sirens wailed outside, and flashlights pierced the windows, blinding me. Several police officers burst in. "Freeze! Hands on your head!" I drove the scalpel into Robert's heart, my rage drowning out his pathetic excuse.

Scar rolled his eyes at the blood that stained his clothes, it was a murky red, the type of red that didn't quite suit the menacing man. Becca’s POV ‘They won’t stop coming, ' Skye yelled while plunging fist into the throat of a creature that looked like a rabbit-toad hybrid. ‘We’ll take them, we can take them,” Cole rasped back with a wolfish snarl. “Bad idea wolf boy” Skye retorted, fizzing through the arena with the speed of a man bullet.”They won’t die. If we continue like this, we’ll be the ones to die here”

SILAS The heavy oak doors of my study are nearly taken off their hinges. I don’t even have time to set down my glass before Scyla is across the room, fuming. Her human skin is flickering like a dying candle, patches of iridescent black scales erupting along her jaw and throat. Her eyes are wide, the golden slits trembling with a mixture of agony and incandescent rage. "You fool!" she screams. "You arrogant, blind fool!"

she demanded, slamming herself down onto Kael while Arlo pounded her ass, the slap of skin on skin filling the room. Juices dripped down her thighs, mixing with the sweat, and I could smell her arousal, musky and intoxicating, even from here. I wanted to throw up. “See how well she takes us, Zane?” Kael panted, thrusting up deep. Arlo laughed, gripping her hair to yank her head back, exposing her throat. “Bet you've never made her scream like this. Listen to those sounds, pure fucking bliss.” And she did scream, a keen wail as they hit a spot inside her that made her tremble, her pussy gushing around Kael's shaft.
