Lumina's Eclipse
Ravens perched on the skeletal branches above, watching silently as though they too knew why she had come.
Her escort hesitated when the ruin came into view, its stones blackened by time, its doorway yawning like the mouth of some ancient beast. Aaliyah did not falter, telling them to wait outside she stepped inside, her gown brushing over cold stone, her eyes straining against the gloom.
The chamber smelled of herbs and smoke. At its center sat a woman, hunched and cloaked, her face hidden beneath layers of shadow. Her voice, when it came, was low and rasping, yet carried an uncanny clarity.
