As she ran her hands on the coffin, she found a latch. "Wow. Looks like one can be locked here. I mean, a corpse can't possibly run away and what would they do if it did?" She mused to herself. Lifting the latch slowly, she held on to her breath as an upsetting odor swept from inside the box. Little by little, she lifted the lid but was shocked to her bones when after the smell had faded, she could see a figure. More like a rotten person who used to wear a coat laying in the coffin. From the skull with lost eyeballs in the dockets, to the withered hands. But something else caught her eyes asides from the hands.

Broken bones were heard before he pulled out his hands. Black blood dripped from his hands and something meaty sat on his palm. "Here it is." I frowned at the gore sight. No witch can do that. He is certainly a vampire. Witches do not dig into people's hands. They collect it from wherever they stand. Ruthless in their own ways.

He uttered something under his breath, and Connor's scream pierced the otherwise quiet surroundings. I heard another sickening crunch and when I looked at my mate. Connor shouted as Greyson staggered and fell back on the ground like a rag doll. I knew he had momentarily become weak, but that didn't stop me from shouting, "Myra, don't!" My mate looked at me, her eyes murderous.

Her heart was hammering in her chest thinking about how Kingsley was going to react after knowing that the bride had been replaced. She was about to sit down when the door opened with a sharp thud. It banged against the wall and flew back to the person. Rose spun around to see who could be so rude or in a hurry. Her eyes widened with shock when she saw four bulky men entering the bridal suite. The black, red, and blue tattoos covered them from head to toe. They immediately locked the door and stood before it, completely cutting off every path Rose could escape from. “What? Who are you? This is a bridal suite. You are in the wrong room!” screamed Rose.

I frowned and said, "You're overthinking it. I'm here to get married as well, so step aside—I'm going in!" Winnie gathered up her wedding gown and marched over to me, unable to hide the sheer jealousy and hatred in her eyes. "Why have you always been taking things from me since childhood, Hannah? I can let you have the wedding gown, but I will never let you have Mason!" That single sentence caused a collective gasp to echo through the crowd. "What's going on here? Did the eldest daughter of the Lowe family actually steal the wedding gown, and now she's going after the groom as well?"

They rounded a corner, which usually would be clear, but instead a rabid dog came jumping through a window, taking him by surprise. “Crouch!” She commanded. Todd pressed the button on the side of the rifle, causing his character to lower down. She aimed and one-shot the hound, right in the head. He could not deny that it was pretty damn sexy to see how she handled that rifle, and the way she hyper-focused on the screen was doing things to him he could not put into words.

Then came the worst part. Something clamped down on the bride’s face. Arah could hear jaws grinding with a guttural squelch. Her stomach twisted as jagged indentations tore into flesh. Bones crunched beneath unseen teeth. The bride’s agonized scream merged with the wet, sloppy sounds of skin ripping. Blood sprayed, spattering the ground and toppled chairs as the bride’s flesh vanished in mangled chunks. Around Arah, people screamed, pressing back against the shrub walls. They clutched each other in horror, not even minding the presence of the other vampire brides.

When her hair tumbled forward like a river of silk, there was no escaping it. The Scarlet Vampire pulled a player into her arms, and they surrendered completely, believing the NPC had fallen for them. Even after their blood was drained, a contented smile stayed on their face. Meanwhile, the Ghost Bride's presence was unmatched. With a single glance from her mournful eyes, players fell under her spell, willingly letting themselves be consumed by the ethereal folds of her white veil. Each bride shone in her own way, captivating viewers completely. "This is the true art of killing!"

She then gestures Andrei’s and Sabrina’s hand that is bathed with blood to join and clasp together. As Andrei and Sabrina stood before the altar, their hands trembling with a mixture of trepidation and anticipation, an unspoken understanding passed between them. They instinctively joined their wounded palms together, allowing the mingling of their blood to create a bridge between their souls. In that instant, a surge of ethereal energy surged forth, a radiant glow barely perceptible to the onlookers, yet tangible enough to stir their hearts.

Then I stopped, something was placed neatly in front of my door, a bouquet of white roses, looking fresh and perfect. The rain didn't touch them. I was surprised, I looked down the empty corridor, and no one was there, no footsteps, no voices. Slowly, I bent down and picked it up, I checked, and there was no note and no name. Only a ribbon was tied around the flowers, and under the bouquet, there was a white handkerchief, stained with blood. The same one Adrain Vale had tied around my wrist, the same one he left with me. I was so scared my keys slipped from my hand.
