Court Of Thorns And Roses Amarantha Novels & Stories

“A touch of pink for the draping, perhaps? And we can look into Peonies, Tulips and Ranunculus for the centerpieces. Imported, as we discussed.” “Exactly,” Ada cooed, finally turning her head to look at Josh. The sweetness in her voice didn't reach her eyes; they remained cold, calculating. “Joshua, darling? What do you think about the floral arch for the entrance? I was thinking we could have it ten feet high, so the cameras get the perfect angle when we walk through.” Josh didn't look up from his coffee. He was tracing the rim of the white porcelain cup, his thumb moving in slow, hypnotic circles. “Arch. Flowers. Sounds expensive,” he muttered, his voice flat.

Getting back on my feet, I made my way towards the bath where a few other maids were waiting for me already as the intoxicating smell of roses became a part of the atmosphere. I got out of the bath smelling myself as the sharp scent of roses had deeply penetrated my skin. Water dripped down my fair skin as I stood up and walked away from the bath. When I was done with everything, I saw a maid bringing an extravagant light pink gown which had white butterflies and flowers decorated all over the bodice as the skirt was quite puffy and pretty. I noticed that Mrs.Hanzah tied the corset a bit tighter than usual. My hair was styled into a formal braided bun as I looked marvelous. Walking towards t

Turning around I see Cronus smiling softly at me. "What seeds are they this time?" He asks tilting his head to the side. "Rose seeds. It's has become my favourite flower. It reminds me of someone." I say smiling fondly at the place I planted the seeds. "And how does it do so?" Cronus asks me gently. "You might think it's ridiculous," I tell him embarrassed. "No, I will not. Tell me, Luna." Cronus encourages me with a soft smile. "Roses have thorns, where you bleed if you don't hold them carefully. But go beyond the thorns you will find the most beautiful flower in the world. It's really soft on the inside." I tell him softly.

They seemed to express that I didn't want him anymore. Facing 50 acres of land, Jeffrey finally realized that I, like these departed roses, would not return. The roses had been given to another woman by him casually, and its owner would not return because of himself. I would no longer plant flowers for him. He would never see me holding roses and asking him, "The roses are ripe. When are we going to get married?" He realized that roses had feelings too. I was willing to be trapped in a greenhouse by him because of my love for him.

And the blush that was barely receding was back again. "I'm not a pretty little flower, Roses are as pretty as they are dangerous." He scoffed, standing up and even from where he was standing, I could see that he'll tower over me. He straightened out his suit jacket. Eyes boring into mine. "The only dangerous roses are those with thorns Rose, and you my dear, you have no thorns. You're a pretty little flower, a harmless little flower." He walked towards me till he was standing right Infront of me, towering over me as expected, I craned my neck just too look at him. "I'll be taking my leave now pretty flower, say hi to Mr. Potter for me."

All I can do is watch her die. Except, she doesn't. As I stand there, the rosebush grows thicker and longer reaching down to grab her, while the trees and bushes below grow taller and wider. She is still falling, but now her body is breaking branches and brambles as she tumbles through roses and thorns tear her skin and clothes to shreds. And standing below her, arms outstretched, directing the magic that is making this happen is a very familiar looking old witch: Araminta Thorpe.

I said with a faint grin. I didn’t know what Anya liked — flowers, colors, scents — I knew none of it yet. But I wanted to try. So I chose what felt right: White roses, for purity and new beginnings. Lavender, for calm and peace. And baby’s breath, for quiet, enduring beauty. The woman wrapped them carefully, tying the bouquet with a silver ribbon. “She must mean a lot to you,” she said softly. “She does,” I replied. When I got back in the car, Dorian stared at the bouquet, then at me. “You’re gone, Alaric.”

If there's anything I know about our world, it's that the need to relive your victory is far too great that sometimes the majority toss away common sense just to have the opportunity to gloat. I hope this would be no different. I hope I would be knuckles deep in some bastard's stomach by this time tomorrow. The attendant shakes his head, his entire face covered in sweat as he looks at me and looks away repeatedly. Fucking pussy. Yet, I don't blame him. It isn't everyday one could see a member or even two of The Black Rose without dying afterwards. But then again, it isn't every time one sees a member of The Black Rose in a fucking freezer.

In the blink of an eye, I saw his fist swing towards me and almost immediately, my body moved to the side, avoiding his punch and it was like my blood was boiling. I felt the kind of energy I had never felt in my body. It was almost like I was walking on the clouds and I could feel everything spite up in him. With my face turned to the side, away from Damien, I clenched my fists tightly and immediately threw my fist at his cheek, knocking him down to the floor. "Oh my God!" a female student screamed as I saw her lose consciousness and she fell to the floor. Everyone was too occupied and shocked to care about the unconscious student.

Amour said and Raven turned to glare at her. "Flowers.. It's glad to see your love for flowers never left" Amour said and Raven didn't reply her "Come look over there... There are daffodils! Your favorite" Amour grabbed her hand and took her to the area Raven looked at the hand and angrily pushed Amour off. "Don't touch me" She growled before facing the flowers. Amour smiled lightly before she turned to pick some flowers Raven stared intently at the flower. She saw a rose not far and went to take a look at it. A rose caught her attention so she made to pick it but the thorns on the rose pricked her index finger.
