Rosalie growled as her canine teeth arouse, letting her wolf partially seen. "You!" Gone was the cordial voice of Sera when she vouch for her master. "The audacity to threaten the royal family. This is treason!" Rosalie's eyes darkened coincide to the ambience of the shop where the countess and other spectators who were merely hiding behind the shadows to not be acquainted by the argument. Yseah then heave a sigh as her eyes roam around the vicinity. The eyes pinned at them were wavering of figures of aghast preys that is shackled with fear from it's predator.

I can't wait to open the contents inside and see what evidence he is referring to me. While my mind was wandering, I didn't realize that Mina's housemate was in front of me and had been handing me the tool box of the medical kit. "I'm sorry," was all I said out of my mouth and took the tool box from his hand. "You seem to be thinking deeply, huh? Are you worried about me or because you're thinking about the thing Rash told you?" he promised me with a frown. I immediately opened the medical kit and took the alcohol inside, pouring it on his soles causing him to moan loudly.

It was a familiar place. Rusted metallic chains on a filthy desk, scraped walls with unidentified words, and a stone-cold atmosphere. It's uncanny how this room gets even scarier. "Please, don't", I whispered, my voice hoarse and small, "not again plea-" My voice was cut off when I felt a pair of dark, lanky hands against my throat. Tears streamed down my eyes as I started struggling to unlatch the iron hold.

“If you continue to be civil with me, we won’t have any problems. I will give you everything you want and beyond. But if you try to act smart and go behind my back…I cannot promise to spare your little puppy. In fact, I’ll kill him in front of you, ripping out his organs one by one. I’ll save his heart for last, making sure that he begs for death every waking second, until I finally grant his wish.” “Stop it! Please!” I whispered in horror, clutching the stems in my hand so tightly that they snapped. Andre looked down at my hands in amusement, letting go of my jaw. The roses fell from my hands and it wasn’t until Andre took hold of my hands and held them up that I saw the thorns embedded on

She buried her feelings of guilt and collected herself. “Listen, Rose.” Roosevelt held both of Rose’s shoulders. “You must stay away from Matthew. You are a danger to each other.” “What do you mean?” “Maybe it’s better if I just show you.” The world warped again and changed to a scene where ‘Matthew’ was destroying buildings and beating up people while seemingly making his way towards Rose and Roosevelt. Rose turned around to see what he was chasing and saw herself. She was being carried away by a group of knights in full armour hastily. The scene was paused the moment Matthew was close to Roosevelt and Rose where his features were much clearer to see.

Rose turns to face her, a smile gracing her lips as she retorts, "Not all of us are born with roses, Saisha. I was born with thorns that will continue to prickle me all my life." In the midst of their conversation, the professor poses a question to the class, met with silence as no student dares to answer. They exchange glances, hoping someone else will break the silence until Rose raises her hand, willing to provide an answer. The students, including Alexa, turn their gaze toward Rose, their expressions cold and filled with disdain. Despite their judgment, Rose remains undeterred, determined to participate actively in her education. As the class approaches its end, the professor distributes

“That would be hundred Percans” “Oh, yeah...sure" Leila replied, retrieving her purse from her backpack,“Thank you". --------***--------***-------***-------- She strolled into the school a few minutes later, making a mental note to see Ms. Annabeth in her office and request a make-up test. She was almost at her locker when she became aware of the whispers and weird looks she received from students as she strolled through the school corridors. “Well, y'all don't have to gossip like I did something really terrible” she said to herself, “I can't be that late”.

Madison’s POV Rose didn't even give me the chance to explain myself; she ended the call before I could explain what happened. I know she is hurt but she should have listened to what I had to say at least. I was trying to explain to Rose but she was too angry to listen to what I had to say. I wouldn't want anything to ruin my friendship with Rose; it would break me. She was my safe space; I run to her whenever I feel like the world is compressing me; she is always available to talk to me; she is that friend who is closer than a sister.
