It’s protected with magic, and if anyone who wasn’t supposed to be here tried to get through, they’d get a nasty burn. We pick up our athames, wiping the blood and dirt off before putting them away, and then step through the door. Going through the door is a bit like going home. Once you step through, you enter a courtyard leading to a large, brick building. The main meeting hall of the coven is right inside, and beyond that is Grim Gate Academy. Every single person in the Covenstead is a witch. We’re all able to do magic to varying degrees. I have nothing to hide here.

I didn't know if I even wanted to join a Coven. The teacher walked into the classroom putting a pause on our conversation. "I'm glad you have a passion. I'm not even sure what I want to do after Highschool," I chuckled. "Well, I'm glad you noticed Ren," I couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic or not but this was a completely different side to Vivienne that l wasn't aware of yesterday. I wasn't even sure now if she actually wanted me seated next to her or if she just wanted me to know that I shouldn't even think about the Coven leader position. The girl doesn’t react to them, just continues rocking and talking silently. “Hello, my name is Deacon Collins. I run an academy within the Grey realm for students aged 18 to 24. We provide accommodation, food, clothing and security. I’d love to offer you a place if you think it might be something that interests you,” D says softly.

I mumbled as we strolled through the quiet street. “It is, but this isn’t exactly the coven itself. The town is for the witches, but not all of them make it to the coven. Some of them are too old to even channel, some wounded by the war. The city is inhabited mostly by survivors of the great war and novices like me. The coven is very sacred, but that’s where you will be trained right after you have met Marla.” He replied and at the end of the street, where the magic seemed to have faded, he stopped in front of a hideous hut.
