Poor thing looks like the cat dragged her in.” A wolf so covered in tattoos he didn’t seem to have any bare skin left raised his glass. From his features, he was clearly of East Asian descent. “Or a group of rebel wolves.”

He was about the same build as Leon, but this man had caramel coloured skin, with hair that looked like coffee swirling in the wind and the most intensive eyes the colour of dark chocolate. "You know what Daisy, I will leave the offer open to you…think of the whole lot of things you can do with twenty billion dollars." Wade Roberto's voice was laced with concern. "I mean…your Dad can be the founder and CEO of the great Hunter's Empire, but imagine the feeling of knowing that you turned a billionaire without Daddy's help." Noah jumped out of the truck ready to operate the tractor. Hunter approached Noah with a look meant to kill. “I thought you said you got rid of her!” “I did.” Noah threw his hands out. Hunter pointed at the cow. “These were shot. Not eaten. Somebody did this intentionally, and we don’t have any other enemies.” “I get it, but I cut my ties with her the night you came to my place. I haven’t spoken to her since.” Hunter’s frown was deep and threatening. “We can’t lose any more cows. You better make sure he knows you’re not hangin’ around her no more.”

“We count as cowboys, right?” Jenni looks over at us and smiles. “All you have to do is wear a cowboy hat, and it magically makes you a cowboy. Didn’t you know that?” I laugh. “Well, technically, a cowboy is someone who rides in a rodeo or works at a ranch herding cattle. But we’ve gotten a little looser with the terminology over the years. But all good cowboys are kind to others and work hard. We can get the job done, no matter how hard it may be.”
