Sweet Hole

Sweet Hole

I didn't want any phone calls made from the room. I waited for Mrs. Stevens and her kids downstairs in the Suburban. It seemed like forever. At three twenty on that gray afternoon a shiny black Ford Expedition pulled in next to me. Candice drove with a teenaged daughter sitting next to her and a slightly younger boy leaning over from the back into the front. Candice had seen the Suburban but not me. She dialed my number and I answered. "Look in the Suburban." She did, and jumped. I got out and walked to her window. It was open when I arrived. Both kids looked at me with suspicion.

Captured By The Powerful Mr. Moore: His Forbidden Claim

Captured By The Powerful Mr. Moore: His Forbidden Claim

In Harford City, the sky was overcast—a dull, heavy gray that mirrored the solemnity of the day. The air carried the scent of incense and fresh flowers, clinging to everything like a memory refusing to fade. The Moore family stood before the twin graves of Benjamin and Vivianne Moore. The marble headstones were tall, pristine, unyielding. Their names carved into stone remained untouched by time, yet they had shaped every second of Grayson’s life.

Nova

Nova

Samantha Whitingnewaliason
I have never left my pack before or even been in a car, so I am determined to just take it minute by minute and try and enjoy this novelty. Then we reached Thornback and I was helped out the back into the grand entrance. The building was a converted Edwardian mansion on a sprawling estate. The first thing I heard upon entering was screams. Screams of terror and desperation. Then a creepy, thin voice spoke into my ear “Welcome Nova, we are going to have so much fun” before I can turn my head to see who said this I feel a pinch in my neck and everything goes black.

Moon Valley

Moon Valley

Rose loved the look of the pack. She could hear the young pups play and laugh. The smell of fantastic food came from different restaurants and houses.. There were hand milled sidewalks with nicely painted street names that were perfectly lite for safety. The cottage seem to differ in size and color. Some had a flower garden and a few others had a great batch of veggies growing. It smelt fresh. It smelled like a good life.

The Mafia And His Caged Master

The Mafia And His Caged Master

In the meantime she must lower Carlo's defences as much as possible so she had a chance of getting the information she wanted. She stood on the balcony looking out at the sun in the distance of the garden, and suddenly the summer sun seemed less annoying to her. She hummed as she arranged the sunflowers on her dresser, their full, neatly opened flowers looking more alive in the sunlight. The flowers were blooming in front of the bed inside Cynthia's cage... Carlo hung up the phone in the morning and went to Warrington Hills, the largest casino in the North End. The North End is what the Ricci's own people call it according to their own way, but in fact this area is part of the north-eastern

A Crack of Faith

A Crack of Faith

I think it’s a snack because when we were done eating that the old lady name, Rani wanted to she wanted to cook breakfast with me, and now she’s praising me because of it. Apparently they own a farm from the next lot and has a diner from town. I didn’t know until today because I asked if they know a place I could work, and they offer that I could be the cashier since I shouldn’t do any excessive work like waiting and cooking and other things that requires a lot of physical movement. “A lot of girls here in town has a crush for Kiel. He’s really handsome and he’s single, he has a brother too but some thinks that he’s dating a model in the Capital.”

Hunter Bride

Hunter Bride

I glanced out of the window every once in a while, watching the buildings going by and people going about their business, completely unaware of the creatures that threatened their very existence. We headed out of the city and drove deep into the Rocky Mountains until we were at the gates of the werewolf compound. The guards quickly opened the gate to let us in and we drove for another half an hour down the road, passing houses and businesses until we got to the pack house. Crimson Fangs Pack was one of the largest packs in North America, and one of the most feared. Their bloodline was old, dating back to when wolves were first created. We pulled up outside of a large mansion, guards armed wi

Death Notice

Death Notice

The hotel he checked into was in Concord. “Concord City! He went to Concord City, New Hampshire!” “There’s no mistake about the address. He’s in Concord City. I also hacked into Garcia’s email and found this.” PA! Judy tapped on the enter key with her finger, and a black card with red words appeared on the screen: Death Notice.

Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

Forty minutes later, Meredith was parking her beaten-up Volkswagen in one of the open parking spaces in CRC. CRC actually stands for Campbell Rehabilitation Center. It was a huge estate in our town, with a big, white façade and a number of different gardens and smaller structures around it. CRC is a place for the less-than-perfect residents of our town. Some stay there for a couple of weeks for little problems such as broken bones that require physical rehabilitation. And yet, some stay for months, maybe even years because they require more intensive rehab… such as those who are terminal, or have head trauma that caused amnesia, or victims of violence… like me.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.
