The demon hisses, looking frantically out the windows for any signs of the creatures. Oh, f**k me. Crawlers were a type of hunting beast, trackers, like blood hounds. They lived in The Deadlands of The Underworld, forbidden to enter The Mortal Realm because they were deadly and unpredictable. Crawlers were about the size of a six foot tall human with enhanced speed and strength, and looked like pinkish/red lizards minus the tail. They have no visible eyes, smooth skin, and have four inch claws that could easily shred flesh like pulled pork. “We’re gonna teach this fucker a lesson.” I lowered the LED a few inches and spotted the disgusting thing crawling up the wall. I could try several paragraphs of description, and you will think I should’ve just said it looked like Gollum and save everybody time. So yeah, that’s what it looked like. “A crawler?” I said mockingly. “You fucking roach are the infamous Skippy?” The dark thing tried to sneak into the door to Quaker Hall basement, but I aimed my LED at the doorway, making it crawl back and up toward the ceiling.

This is a golden-eyed Golden Zombie with infinite strength.” When Darven, who was hiding far away, heard the words, he smacked his head. “Oh right, Miss Mayer, your Exorcist Dragons specializes in fighting zombies. You should have a way, right?” Freya took out a black-and-red wooden stick with a pointy cone in the front and a sculpture of a dragon throne at the back. It had grains that looked like dragon scales all over its body.

The smoke, if compressed, was enough to fill a jar the size of the boy’s head. The light fizzled out abruptly and the smoke in the circle burst out on all sides in a ring. At its revealed core sat a lesser demon. The thing reminded Kilvic of a large spider. With four legs on both sides, it scratched the ground in confusion, its carapace covered thorax wiggling with each move. Its head was no more than a large blob attached to its torso with eight beady eyes that moved individually scattered upon it. Together, its head and thorax were easily the size of a grown boy’s forearm. And attached to them at its end was a large greenish abdomen with a stinger the size of a thumb. It was a visual cross

A strong wind flies over my head, drawing my attention to the sky. Well, I’ll be damned. It’s a draconoid—a creature that’s about half human and half dragon. The demon is a menace to hunters who are not adept at fighting in midair. It’s a pain in the butt to deal with, but with my stolen abilities, it shouldn’t be much of a challenge for me to kill it. When the werewolves occupied the land, humans were either killed or chose to surrender and be their slaves.

They were brought to him, trembling with fear. Damon's eyes narrowed as he looked at them. "You stole from me," he said, his voice cold and deadly. "You'll pay for that." Without another word, Damon's men dragged the thieves away, their screams echoing through the warehouse. Damon watched them go, his expression unyielding. He had a reputation for being ruthless, and he intended to keep it that way. When it was all over, Damon returned to his car, his mind at ease. He had taken care of the problem, and he could now focus on more important things.
