I certainly didn’t, until I met the elusive and reclusive Damien Silverburn. Immediately upon meeting him, I noticed his eyes, the color of fire flickering against the night sky. Any time I had seen him online, his eyes had been brown. One of my jobs, I soon learned, would be to make sure there was a copious and constant supply of brown contact lenses to cover the red. Humans didn’t respond well to red eyes, but the composition of wolf person eyes dissolved the lenses quickly. It was important that there was always more than enough in stock.

I felt like prey dropped into a den of hunters. A voice behind me ripped through the air. “She’s here.” The crowd parted as someone walked ahead. My breath hitched. He was lovely in a way that was crisp, like glass. Tall, lean, hair like liquid silver spilling to his shoulders. His complexion was pale, too pale, but not sickly luminescent, almost gleaming under the storm clouds. His eyes were a striking shade of crimson, and when they rested on me, it felt like being stripped bare.

The brooms handle was wooden, surely it could act as a make shift stake if it came down to it. "Always fighting and never yeilding" Aiden's says before his eyes shift from my face to the location of the broom against his breast. His eyes darkened a few shades but his aura remained the same. Completely tertifying. This wasn't how I remembered him to be. Calm yes, but there's something else. But who am I to judge knowing even my eyes are pink.

And I wished he hadn't because the next thing I knew, an ear-piercing scream left my throat and I panicked with a new fear. Crimson was just a color until my eyes landed on his. A deep wine-colored hue rested in his eyes, the rim of the pupil had a deep golden boundary, the black dot between enclosed with silvery touch. It was beautiful in a way that I realized no normal human would ever possess such distinct features. My eyes frantically moved towards his hand encircled around my wrist for he had curved nails that were utterly unusual and strange.

"I believe we have a lot of company inside the van. So, what do you say?" Dolora crosses her arms above her chest and looks at him with those eyes, those eyes that captivates him, the eyes that he saw from the very first time they met and the second time they does. Her eyes never did change, but the shine of it just gone brighter and brighter.

From the dark pupil turned into a moonlight silver with an explosion of mauve that was falling to crimson blood which made the white part of her eyes partially gone. Mira blushed when she heard Angel’s comment but she leave it be and focus on his wolf.
