They wrenched half of the planet away and made it their own Kingdom, the Underworld.” Laila draws a circle on the paper to represent a planet and draws a line clean through it. “This is the Underworld,” she continues, tapping her pen on one of the hemispheres and then gesturing to the wasteland around us to indicate that they’re the same. “But beneath it is the Deadlands.” Inside the little hemisphere that Laila has indicated is the Underworld, she draws a smaller circle, just below the surface.

But just as I was underwater, I saw she had already popped up on the top of the water, her legs visible in the sun. “Goddess Ivy. Don’t you know swimming under a waterfall is dangerous!?” I shook her, gripping her arms. Her eyes were wide, looking at my hands. “I didn’t go under it, Alex I went around it.” I tightened my grip. “You’re hurting me.” “I’m sorry.” I pulled her into a hug. “You just scared me.” “Blake, for someone so strong, many things scare you.” She ran her hand down my cheek. “There’s real danger in this world, Constant wars. Constant betrayals. You’ve already seen it.” I swallowed, thinking about it. “Only now have I had anything I was terrified to lose.”

I pulled it off, turned ready to leave. “Bring him in for questioning tommorow!” I said to Trevor, my voice heavy.

Damon looked up at him, as if he didn't understand. The elder forced himself to continue. She hated the noise in the council hall and often carried stacks of ledgers back to the main house, muttering curses at the stubborn old wolves

It was easier that way. As I turned to leave, Patrick slammed his forehead against the ground, again and again, until blood oozed from the injury. "Oliver, I'm in the wrong! Please, save me. Sell the bracelet, and pay off my debt. I'll be your servant, your slave, whatever you want! If I can't repay the loan, they'll kill me! I'm begging you!" I kicked him to the floor with contempt. "Patrick, don't you get it? In our previous life, you took my life. In this one, now that I've been reborn, I'm here to make you pay."

he asked approaching, I looked behind meeting Sarah's eyes, but she seemed excited, almost giggling, to be honest. "You know each other?" This time it was CEO Kaelen speaking, he sounded exactly like I imagined he would sound. I looked up to meet his strong questioning glance. There was a Resemblance between him and the devil, they are supposed to be half-brothers, but wait to come nobody knows of this brother especially when he appears older, wait does that mean CEO Kaelen is a demon too?
