I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

‘What do you think of this place, huh? ‘Your friend picked a good location,’ I said. It was only mid-afternoon on a weekday, but the place already had a solid crowd. ‘Yeah, he called it Crossroads. Told me he noticed how, back when this was still a bakery, everyone in the area—doing groceries, going to work, out for a jog—would pass by this corner. So he bought it and turned it into a bar. Now it draws all kinds of people. Joggers, office workers, retirees, even moms on the school run.’

As up to now the book would be 3 Stars. It is declining severely. Dragging with baby stories that don’t add up to the story just for adding characters and taking our money. Definitely stopping. Huge dissapointnent. Good until chapter 380

This author is one of the best writers I have ever read! I love her discripted writings. She has captured the scenes' and characters' feelings with flair and accuracy. I hope to read other books by this author.

Crossing Life and Death for You

Crossing Life and Death for You

Nicholas muttered to himself before quickly dialing Madison's number. The moment the call got through, Madison asked, "Is Astrid still nowhere to be found? Several of my collaborations have been canceled, and I've also lost my endorsements!"

I Crossed Miles to Say Goodbye

I Crossed Miles to Say Goodbye

Third-Person POV Xavier clenched his fists as he stood before the receptionist, not budging an inch. "Please tell me where Serena is. I have something important to tell her." The receptionist hesitated, then sighed. "She went abroad. I don't know the details of her transfer, only that it's to Erilea." "Where in Erilea?" Xavier pressed. "I really can't tell you. She made that clear." After thanking the receptionist, Xavier turned and left the office building. He walked out the company doors and stood by the curb.

The Line I Shouldn't Cross

The Line I Shouldn't Cross

The fabric was incredibly thick and soft, the distinct scent of winter air and faint tobacco lifting from the cotton. Tucked into the front pocket was a small, white square of paper. I grabbed it, my fingers shaking as I flipped it over. Written in that same rough, heavy dark ink was a short message: Locker code 24-11-06. Put it on. Don't let anyone else see you look like that.

The Heiress Revenge

The Heiress Revenge

"Here, anything is possible." I looked around, awestruck. What did she mean? What was the Nexus? Rachel's grip on my hand tightened as we stepped forward, into the unknown. The rock formations loomed ahead, casting long shadows in the fading light. The woman glided beside us, her blue skin seeming to absorb the colors around her. "The Nexus is a crossroads," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Paths converge, and possibilities unfold." As we walked, the air thickened with an otherworldly energy. I felt it vibrating through my veins, like a hum of electricity.

Iron Veve's Kiss

Iron Veve's Kiss

Another watched me, head tilted, before fluttering to the handlebars of the bike. The numbers on my arm dimmed, their light leaching into the swamp mud. Only the crow saw—its red eye reflecting the fading glow like a dying star. The swamp belched up a guttural yipping. Three coyotes slunk from the kudzu, ribs pressing against mange-peeled hides. Their eyes burned amber, too human in the half-light. The leader limped, its left foreleg bent like a question mark etched in bone—a broken compass needle pointing nowhere good. Mamá had warned me about these: the kind Mamá called ‘crossroads hounds’, shaped by the land’s hunger.

The Alpha's World Claimed Me

The Alpha's World Claimed Me

He let out a breath he seemed to have been holding and sat back. “Get ready. We’re leaving now.” He stood abruptly and began pulling on his travel clothes. Outside the tent, it was still dark. The only light came from a sliver of the moon hanging low in the dawn sky, casting long, skeletal shadows across the camp. “Are you sure we should leave yet?” I asked, my voice trembling slightly. “Yes. We have to cross the Fire Crossroad before night falls. Remember the Land of the Lone Wolves I told you about? We can’t be caught there in the dark.”

CROSSROAD

CROSSROAD

He was thrilled to stand at the door, to have the wind slap through his hair and clothes while feasting on the sights outside. Soon, the train slowed down and came to a stop. Dev looked around. They were parked at some desolate place with nothing but tall grass around. He glanced at his watch. Three minutes had passed. “Are we at a station or something?” he asked the balding man. “Not really,” he answered. “There’s a crossing here. The express train is due any minute.” He paused to listen. “Talk about the devil. Here it comes.” A BLARE closed in fast and SLAPPED past.

CROSSED PATHS

CROSSED PATHS

I wanted to go stalk his house and observe things, his family members; how they looked and if they seemed like the people that would have a bad effect on my daughter's life or not I parked my car a street before the street and made sure to wear my hat that covered almost half of my face and I wired my sunglasses then also took a black nose mask to fully cover my identity. He had already pulled his car into his compound. I hastily walked to his compound to catch up. He had gotten out of the car and was walking towards the main entrance door. I immediately found my way to go to a side of the fence and climbed over it, carefully jumping into the compound so I wasn't going to hurt myself or be s
