Beatrix: After my shift at the café, I decided to take a walk. The restrictions had kept most of the media at bay, but I still took the back alley to avoid the reporters. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over WillowRidge, and I found myself drawn toward the community hall. The place was quiet, almost eerie in the fading light. I stepped inside, my footsteps echoing in the empty space. Memories flooded back—the laughter of children, the warmth of my father’s hand as he led me to the play area, and… Sebastian.

I assumed the farce had finally ended, but as I stood in the luxury boutique listening to the manager's report on last quarter's new arrivals, those same familiar leather soles echoed behind me once more. I turned, and there stood Thomas at the entrance, arm crossed with a scowl. "It's you again! Bumpkins and freaks have no business in high-end stores." He sauntered inside, sizing me up like discarded trash. "We don't sell cheap grocery bags here, old man." His gaze swept the displays before locking on the limited-edition crocodile-skin shoes in the clerk's hands. He said simply, "I'll take those." The clerk hesitated, glancing at me. "Sir..."

Rene followed the man's long strides from behind, they took a winding road and crossed several stone bridges in a city full of bridges and canals. This area has no vehicles that can pass, like other areas, because this location is located on small islands that are joined by stone bridges to cross. There were several gondolas passing by the canal under the stone bridge they crossed. A beautiful and romantic city, unfortunately they have to hurry and are haunted by an Alpha Tomas.

I claimed the fence which we high but I don't care I just want to get far away from here. When I jumped down I sprained my ankles ,the pain was nothing compared to the torture we go through in the orphanage home. The crossroad was a common ground where neither werewolves nor Lycans had power over, it was the one thing the witches made clear they both could not own in any way. It was also the place where meetings were held when necessary.

The smile the man is wearing wavers a bit before he nods. Mr Cross wastes on time leaving from the hotel, which he instructs his driver on where to go. Not long after, we are speeding through a light traffic, over a bridge and to where the city starts to reveal a beach lined by better looking store fronts. After the car is parked, Mr Cross and I, along with two of his bodyguards, walk down a stretch of road, passing people who stare at us and hostess or store attendants trying to get us to stop by their business.

The Crossroads were a place where you used to become an adult. It was off territory and only the big kids got to go because they were allowed to leave the territory. For a long time, it was a mythical place that the young kids fantasized about going. Over the past ten years though, Jackson had grown from a small town to more of a city. Now, that was the place where you could go to hang out if you were old enough to be off territory without your parents. The Crossroads became the thing of the past.
