The Haunted's Kiss of Regret and Repentance

The Haunted's Kiss of Regret and Repentance

I wasn't enjoying it that time, because I was just pretending so the guards and my nannies won't tell my parents. My eyes grew wide as I realized that something dark began approaching the little Shyne from a distance. I tried to stop the shadow, but something white passed through me and stopped the shadow. I was beyond shocked as the light and dark disappeared as if nothing happened. The baby Shyne was smiling and still painting. I turned around and saw that the shadow was gone, and a white being with wings was now standing behind the baby like a protector. It was the same being I saw during the crossroads dream I had a while back. He was the angel on the right road.

before she could ask, Hexa brought the wine for her and she was happy to be pampered. Yet she asked, “If you are not gho- (Hexa pulled her head closure to kiss before their lips met she pleaded) fine, fine, please pardon me. (Hexa took his hand away from her head) If you are not dead, then who are you being? Alive or dead or gho- spirit?” Hexa looked at eyes which were more attractive when she was questioning him, “That’s complicated to answer. I am neither dead nor alive. I am just a leftover in the celestial balance.”

Moonbunnie
It's a very developing novel, the more we dive in, the more the story gets interesting and intriguing. I love the characters, and it really portrays a lot of parts of the novel. The story is overall smooth and in place. I also loved the soft smooth developed work of the author, it melts my heart.

What an amazing story with ghost romance.. The author just shown the plot rather writing it. The first chapter, the opening poem and the very intriguing blurb - it hooked me, totally recommending this story.

Love above all

Love above all

Looking up into my eyes, I could see tears near its edges. “After the Moon Goddess left, we all tried to get the answer as to why your eyes were red, yet Brian’s was Hazel. It took months of getting witches, warlocks, and anybody we could get to tell us the reason. While looking for answers, Hecate came to us.” She is the Three-Faced Greek Goddess of Witchcraft. “She explained that while your father was a werewolf, he was also a hybrid.”

she said as she handed over another doughnut box "You already gave me a doughnut box" "Yeah I know but I have to repay you for all the doughnuts delivery you did for me" "Take it while I will go share the rest with the others" "Hadi, is your mom always like this?” "She didn’t give me any doughnuts" Hadi frowned "Aya why didn’t you give her doughnuts" "She didn’t give me either," Ata said "Aww you’re so cute, don’t worry I will share mine with you," I said as I knelt next to them

The Lycan’s Secret Bride: Weak to Strong

The Lycan’s Secret Bride: Weak to Strong

Benjamin gushed as he drove. “Yeah well, I’m just glad we now have him as an ally. Now, our pack will have more ways than one to defeat those rogues.” I answered my hands sliding over my dagger. “Hey, you know what, how about we check out that crossroad. You know the one where we share with the Lycans.” He asked, making my eyes widen in shock. Was he out of his mind? The crossroad was a common ground where neither werewolves nor Lycans had power over, it was the one thing the witches made clear they both could not own in any way. It was also the place where meetings were held when necessary.

My Fated Mate

My Fated Mate

Sasha and Alec found themselves at the intersection of two shimmering paths, each leading to unknown realms in the cosmic expanse. The celestial energies hummed with anticipation as they exchanged a glance, acknowledging the weight of the choices laid before them. "Sasha," Alec began, his voice a steady undercurrent to the cosmic symphony, "we stand at the crossroads of destiny. The paths before us, they hold the echoes of countless possibilities. I can feel the weight of our choices shaping the very fabric of the astral realms."

Alpha's Regret: Omega Secretary's My Mate

Alpha's Regret: Omega Secretary's My Mate

I whispered, apologizing and bowing my head over again. "I am the goddess Hecate—the patron goddess of magic, witchcraft, and sorcery. I have the owner to guide and control the paths of life. The darkness, shadows bow to me..." I gasped, pressing my body into Julian as the room was suddenly enveloped in darkness, and then I saw shadows around. A shudder escapes me, and I murmur, "I didn't mean to offend her." The room suddenly flooded with light, and I yelped as I saw her in front of me, whereas Julian was where Jack was.

UNDER HADES' RULES

UNDER HADES' RULES

April looked destroyed. “April?” Rose caught her attention. April turned her gaze to her. “You were right,” she pronounced. “The Sadharthe Company was always behind the plans the drug dealers used to transport the goods. I know it because I helped the Son of Hades to make the plans. Rose, Lucian Sadharthe is the Son of Hades and I’m his accomplice.” Rose brought a hand to her forehead. After all, she didn’t want to hurt April, but if she had to, she was to do it to free up the world of their crap. After all, it was April and Lucian who’d been poisoning the world.

Mother, May I

Mother, May I

Vidar steps up next, handing her a single belladonna flower, which she places gently on the shroud. “This is the point in the ceremony where my witches would ask for my blessing,” Hecate says with a soft smile. “As the goddess of the crossroads, I guide all transitions—life, love, death, rebirth. I watched Nyx pass not into Summerland, but into Tartarus. She was calm. She knew she had fulfilled her purpose.” She pauses. “And I am also here for you. Because you are standing at a crossroads of your own. Grief. Love. Memory. Transformation. I will hold space for all of it. Because none of us truly die—we simply become something new.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Hekate’s such a fascinating figure because she defies easy categorization. While she’s often linked to the underworld—especially in myths like 'The Homeric Hymn to Demeter,' where she guides Persephone—her domain stretches way beyond that. She’s the goddess of crossroads, magic, and liminal spaces, the kind of deity who exists in thresholds. I love how her triple form symbolizes her presence in heaven, earth, and the underworld, making her this all-encompassing force. Modern interpretations, like in 'Lore Olympus,' play with her witchy, mystical side, but ancient texts paint her as a torch-bearing guide. She’s not just a underworld figure; she’s the in-between, the one who illuminates choices.

What really hooks me is how her role evolved. Early on, she was a protector, but by the Hellenistic period, she became more associated with ghosts and darker magic. It’s like her reputation got spookier over time, maybe because crossroads were seen as haunted places. Still, whether you see her as a guardian or a spectral queen depends on which era or story you pull from. Personally, I think that duality’s what makes her so compelling—she’s both a guide and a gatekeeper.
