Wade, seated in a wheelchair, was wheeled out. I stood by him, clad in black with lips painted a fierce red. My high heels crushed rose petals beneath, like a harbinger of doom. "Elena…" Rosa went ghostly white, gripping Marco's sleeve, shaking like a leaf. Marco tried to keep his cool, bellowing. "Elena! This is my wedding day! Are you trying to stage a coup right now?" I let out a soft laugh and clapped my hands. Four guards hoisted a massive golden broadsword into view.

When she rose, the glow beneath her skin caught the light and scattered it across the walls. The day of her coronation had begun. The city of Valoria had never seen such light. Dawn poured through the clouds like molten glass, spilling across the temple spires and the marble terraces below. Bells answered one another from every quarter, their echoes folding into a single, rolling thunder that seemed to shake the sky.

“Aveline. What does this mean.” I stepped closer. Magic hummed beneath my skin. The crown brightened. “It means,” I whispered, “he is reaching out directly. He is calling to me.” Cold settled across the field. The crown pulsed once. Then twice. Then shattered into thousands of whispering flakes that filled the air with one final message. “The king falls.” The last flake drifted to my palm and melted. I stared at the empty space where the crown had been, heart pounding. And the snow began falling again.

There were at least 10 jewels attached to the crown's base, making it one of the most grandiloquent objects in the entire vicinity of this lifeless wasteland. All seven of them hid behind a boulder large enough to conceal them. Their iris stretched as the luminosity of the crown poured their eyes. Their hearts are pumping faster than a flywheel. They looked at the armored giant wrapped in the halo of zion in the sky. Their forehead complete drenched in sweat and horror. "What the hell...Is that a woman?" "This rhythm! Shit! Can you guys feel it? " "Yeah! It's coming out of that crown…" "What the hell is she doing there? Why are they drifting in the sky like that?"

They were the stewards of the land, entrusted with the welfare and prosperity of their people. As the ceremony reached its pinnacle, the crowns themselves were brought forth, symbols of authority and unity. Kendrick's crown was studded with precious gemstones, reflecting the strength of his rule, while the Faith's crown was adorned with delicate filigree, symbolizing her wisdom and grace. The king's crown was placed upon Kendrick's head with a regal solemnity, a weight that he accepted with a sense of duty and honor. The queen's crown followed, its gentle placement a reminder of the delicate balance she would bring to the kingdom.

Throwing it like that, letting it fall like that…would definitely crack it! Almost instinctively, Gale lunged forward when the crown was falling quickly. She leaned forward and grabbed the crown tightly with her hands. Thankfully, she was very lucky. When the crown was only half a meter away from falling on the ground, Gale managed to grab it! She had used so much force that her veins could clearly be seen on the back of her hand. Furthermore, the crown was made of gold. As she clutched it, the sharp side pierced her palm.

With those final words, I yanked the wedding ring off my finger and flung it at Nolan with all the force I could muster. "Hah. Alright, then," said Nolan, nodding. He tossed a check onto the coffee table like it was nothing. "Here's fifteen thousand. Take it and get out!" The moment my fingers brushed the check, Lena let out a sharp cry. "Ugh, my chest... It's so tight..." She crumpled, falling right into Nolan's arms. Nolan's face twisted with shock, and he swatted my hand away like I was a pest. The check drifted down, landing in an ashtray brimming with cigarette butts, instantly ruined.

There was a lining of pride in her undertone. “On this day, the day of the third lunar Circle.” She continued strongly. I felt goosebumps, accompanied by chills, reign all over my body and I believed it was the same for everyone. My mum’s hand rose high into the air towards Cayden’s head.. and then above it. The moment was magical. The Crown glistened as she lowered it down toward his head now. She smiled. “I crown you, KING OF THE CANINE REIGNS…” She placed the crown on his head… and then vehement cheerful shouts shot into the air and consumed the silence.

The crowns were beautiful; they were the same; there was no difference between the crowns. The crowns were also unique; everyone’s crown was either gold or silver, but this one was gold with rubies, emeralds, and lovely-looking gemstones on it. The crown was elegant and powerful. Jane has never done this for anyone; does she have a personal connection with any of them? Nobody knows her family or background; they just all know she is a witch and the leader of the pillars.

"So what? I've never heard of you. You're probably still a nobody from a tiny, insignificant pack." She turned to the clerk with a sharp gaze. "You must be new here, so let me be clear—we're in Northmere, under Alpha Falcon's rule. If you dare sell that crown to her, this place won't last till dawn!" The clerk's hand trembled as he held the box, as if it suddenly weighed a hundred pounds. He turned to me, his voice trembling. "Ma'am, I'm just trying to make a living. I can't afford to offend Alpha Falcon… Please don't make this any harder for me."
