Forbidden by the Triplet Alphas

Forbidden by the Triplet Alphas

The crown pulsed in his hands, dark light bleeding from the thorns. He brought it to me. "This will hurt too," he said. "I know." He pressed the crown against the wound on my arm. The darkness exploded. Not outward—inward. The poison in my blood surged toward the crown, drawn to it like water to a drain, like a wolf to its pack. The black lines on my skin writhed, retreated, pulling back from my neck, my face, my chest. The numbness in my heart began to fade, warmth spreading through my veins like the first breath of spring. I gasped, my back arching, and the gold beneath my skin blazed one last time—bright, brilliant, alive.

His darkness

His darkness

He didn’t need more issues that he already has, so I kept silent, yet my mind couldn’t. On the twentieth blue moon, a new Luna will take her place, and noble blood will be spilled for the sake of the throne. Darkness will fall, and betrayal will tear the pack apart; one a galloper, one a fellow. With the new blood's arrival, the curse will remain still. No magic can save the warrior's wretched fate, only the blood of his newborn can do.

In The Dark

In The Dark

Especially since his whole fantasy was for there to be a shroud of mystery with us meeting. She continued, "I can give him your number and he can call and go over any other specifics with you. I realize it'll be dark but I don't know if there's anything special he wants you to wear or not wear, any special way he wants you to smell, that kind of thing. I think the whole premise of being in the dark is to heighten all of your other senses. He really wants the physical connection with you, without any pretense about who he is or who his family is or all that."

Literally one of the best books on this app. This is one of those few books that I could actually read again! Totally unique plot. You think it’s going in a certain direction and then it switches up keeping you interested. Total page turner. And FANTASTIC/SEXY love story!

Rise of the Darkness

Rise of the Darkness

Good luck Dalton. I've seen darkness before, the kind that makes our street like an old fashioned photograph, everything a shade of grey. This isn't like that. This is the darkness that robs you of your best sense and replaces it with a paralysing fear. In this darkness I sit, muscles cramped and unable to move. I only know my eyes are still there because I can feel myself blink, still instinctively moisturizing the organs I have no current use for. I can't hear anything either. I guess that should bring my heart rate down below the level of “rabbit in a snare” but it doesn't. By my genes I am a predator, I have the front facing eyes and brain enough to hunt, but I feel like prey in this utt

SHATTERED CROWNS

SHATTERED CROWNS

Whatever she’s hiding, she’s spending real money to keep it hidden. Damien stared at the message until the screen went dark. The necklace. He’d been trying not to think about it, but it kept circling back like a song stuck in his head. The pendant Seraphina had been wearing was a gold chain with a red gemstone. Not ruby. Something darker. Garnet, maybe. The setting was unusual, an asymmetric bezel with a tiny vine detail along the bail. He’d noticed it because it reminded him of— No. He got up from the chair so fast it rolled backward into the bookshelf. He crossed the room, opened the bottom drawer of the cabinet by the window, the one he kept locked, the one that held things he pretended d

Blood Crown

Blood Crown

The guys exclaimed and helped the new guy to his feet. “They are here. We have to leave immediately." Azriel spoke just in time as a massive black dog emerged from nowhere and stepped on the frame of the broken door. Its eyes were the deepest shade of black, like peering into an abyss, and its fangs were jagged as he licked them while glaring with a malevolent stare, its claws were the sharpest and didn't belong to a dog because this wasn't a dog; Roxie realized she was staring at a bloody wolf.

MISTRESS OF DARKNESS

MISTRESS OF DARKNESS

The surroundings gradually darkened because the moon has changed color, but any darkness is irrelevant to my eyes that can see right through it. I can hear screams everywhere, which almost drew my attention, but they vanished when, from the darkest part of that place, I saw someone standing—no, he was now walking—and in an instant, he was already in front of me, but I didn't have the chance to see his face. The next thing I knew, he had sucked my neck and drunk my blood along with my screams and a tight grip on his ripped arm. "You're all mine. Your blood, your body, your soul. I'll kill everyone who threatens me and my possession. I'll kill whoever try to take you away from me. Now sleep, A

A Dark Curse

A Dark Curse

My vision blackens at the edges, my legs weakening as I lean heavily against the door. Dominic is there, his presence a steady anchor in the storm of my agony. As if he had been waiting for me, his hand reaches out to catch me before I can fall, his touch a lifeline in the darkness that threatens to engulf me. Without a word, he guides me down to the basement, the cool stone walls closing in around us like a protective cocoon. With every step I take, the pain of the wolf’s bane coursing through my veins intensifies, a relentless torment that threatens to overwhelm me. Each breath is a struggle, each heartbeat a reminder of the poison that now courses through my body. The air is heavy with th

A Queen Among Darkness

A Queen Among Darkness

“Wait, are you talking about the Dark Ages?” “No, this was long before that and far worse. Eventually, Jartre couldn’t live with his own darkness and so, using his power to tear through the fabric of existence, he tore through himself. He literally ripped the darkness from himself, thinking that would get rid of it. But instead, it took on a life and form of its own, becoming Azadou. A God born of pure darkness and hatred and every negative emotion you could have. His darkness spread fast and consumed all those he came into contact with, earning him the title of Demon God, as any being his darkness touched became infected with it until their very beings were consumed and turned into shadow.

Iridian

They orbited towards Dain, so thick and dense that after a few seconds, all I could see were the starry expanse of his eyes, and the whiteness of his teeth. “Darkness, capital ‘D,’ and darkness, lowercase, are two very different things.” He explained, not at all fazed by my mistake. A flutter began low in my stomach as I settled into the armchair, nestling in the blanket that smelled strongly of Dain. How easy it felt sitting here with him. So easy that it wouldn’t be hard to picture this as my room, his bed as our bed. I shook the tempting thoughts from my head, covering my torment with curiosity. “The Darkness and the White Bull are one in the same, manifestations of the purest form of evi

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet
