Never to look back

Never to look back

Chris paused, “Ever heard of cultivators?” “Yeah… it’s all the rage in Chinese literature… there’s actually a genre for those tales.” Miles responded before asking, “but little uncle why are you asking this? Surely you don’t…” “What if I told you that it is not a fantasy world but a very real one that existed… one that still exists today?” Chris countered. “No freaking way….” Miles, Vincent and Penny piped up in unison. Chris snapped his fingers and the fruit platter that was sitting on the tea table rose by itself and landed before the trio.

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

"This will sting a little. But it will prevent your mind and body from dissociating with each other." "What do you mean?" Two asked in wonder. The tingling of her flesh was only a slight annoyance. 'I wonder if everyone else will be ok? It would suck to run into them and they became old fossils.' "Early set Dementia, and Muscle dystrophy." Ren stated. "The mind and the body become confused. If we were in "Secluded Cultivation" it would not be a problem. Since that is a state in which a Cultivator does not pay attention to time and actively chooses to death from that issue."

Three-Years Contract Marriage with the Billionaire

Three-Years Contract Marriage with the Billionaire

The specific and particular history of people who had been present at large events and had not been the people the large events were usually said to be about. She read novels. The novels were harder to characterize. They were not genre novels and not literary novels in the specific and self-conscious way of novels that were aware of being literary. They were simply good novels, or what appeared, from the evidence of the way she held them, the specific and attentive quality of a woman who was genuinely inside a book rather than processing it, to be good novels. She had read one I recognized. She had read several I did not.

I read this book because the introductory 6 chapters made me curious. The second half of the book was written in an interesting style, however the location, the characters names were confused, the months were out of sequence. The 2nd half was the same plot in an alternative style with many flaws.

Enjoyable. Started reading this on another platform. They suddenly change the name of the lead. Pissed me off. Chinese gold farming continues. Wish USA had reading apps. Hate giving my time and or money to the Chinese!

This Transmigration is Wrong!

This Transmigration is Wrong!

As for the other people present, she looked at them as she nodded and smiled awkwardly and quickly turned away. She turned to look at Lisa, who was checking out books ahead of her, and went near her. "Hey. Aren't I just going to learn cultivation? Why is there a need for you to pick so many books?" Naomi complained as she offered to show the books she was carrying that was stacked on one another. 'If it were novels, I wouldn't complain but these books... argh!' Naomi grumbled inwardly. "Also, look at these books. They don't seem to be all about cultivation at all!" Naomi added.

“The soil is right. The drainage is right. The attention is right. A correct life has that same quality. Things grow. The accumulation is visible.” Fleur turned to Elian. “The novels come from this?” “Everything comes from this,” Elian said. “The novels, the foundation, the letters, the conversations. You can’t write about staying from anywhere other than where you’re staying.” “And the third novel?” “Still growing,” Elian said with a small smile. “Underground. Like garlic in winter.” Fleur looked around the home, its quiet layers of meaning, the evidence of lives faithfully lived. “I’ve filmed many people in many places,” she said finally. “This is the most real place I’ve been.”
