Cursed Audiobook Novels & Stories

“So you’re telling me rogues are cursed?” I wanted to hit my head against a wall. I should have known a person like Felicity would lie about even her academic prowess. “The goddess cursed rogues? Where did you learn this?” “It’s in ‘Rogues 101.’ I’m serious.” As she mentioned the ridiculous book title, I pulled out my phone to search for it on the internet. Surprisingly, it existed. “The goddess cursed all destroyers with a madness that is incurable.”

she said, guiding Marcy to the table and setting out children's books along with a jar of different treats. I put the old books back on the shelves, but my curiosity about the kind of books the bloody man read was something I couldn't resist. While Zoey taught Marcy, I went through Reis’s books. It was basically wolves and history… there was a book titled *Moon Curse*, re-written by Wulfstan Throne, 1684. I didn’t need to be told, the author was probably from Reis’s past generation. It was amusing to find out they had all been suffering from the curse since the 1600s.

I can't seem to think past the ache in-between my legs, talk less of forming coherent sentences. Images of him pinning me to this very wall, tearing my clothes off and pounding into me in the most feral way possible fill my head till they're all I can think about. But the asshole steps away, a smirk on his face. One that I'm sure will haunt my sleep tonight. “So, Little Trouble,” he begins. " I'll have you understand the full story behind the curse that's on our bond." He fishes a huge dusty book from the cupboard and places it on the table.

I whispered. But Arnold continued mercilessly. “I, Alpha Arnold Reid of the Nightshade Pack…” My vision blurred. “…reject you, Leticia Hales of Frostfall Pack…” The mate bond snapped through my chest like something tearing apart inside me. “…as my Luna.”

I almost puked in disgust and turned my face away but she forced me to look at her. "I curse you to never find love, you'll be lonely all of your life. Anyone who loves you will die a horrible death, anyone who tries to break this curse will never know peace, you will be an outcast among your own people, your best friend will betray you, your woman will seek your life and you will never be happy!" The woman shouted. "No!" I yelled frantically. I began to shake violently as I tried to free myself, the witch appeared beside my Father and everyone else began to chant the curse along with her.

Her answer sure came as a surprise to me. “It’s hard to understand this but the ancestors of the Goldsman were lycanthrope. It’s said that the Eldest Goldsman was referred to as Lord. He was cursed by a nasty witch after he ordered her execution for murdering innocent kids in name of sacrificial rituals. Due to it, he underwent a lot of trouble.” Caitlyn had a distant look in her eyes, staring past my shoulders towards the forest behind me.

Kaelen had heard that story before; it was taught in royal history, and it happened in the forest they visited that night. “They cursed our bloodline with their dying magic,” Darius continued. “A curse designed to destroy the Alpha line.” Kaelen shook his head. “That’s just a legend." “I believed the same thing,” Darius said quietly. “Until tonight.” He lifted his hand weakly. Dark veins pulsed beneath his skin. “The moment you left for the hunt… the sickness began.” Kaelen felt Ravok shift uneasily inside him. The forest, the wolf murmured.

“I’m fine. Just tired. Have my supper sent to my room.” I head upstairs but end up in the library instead. There has to be something — some record, some myth. I’ve never heard of brothers sharing a mate. Hours pass in a blur of pages and dust. My frustration grows heavier, dulled only by the bottle I found tucked behind an old grimoire. The burn in my throat does nothing to quiet her presence in my head. Her face flashes again. I slam the final book shut. Fuck. There’s a soft knock on my door. I take a small whiff of the air. I pick up Amber's scent.

When he opened the door, he was greeted by the sight of Carmen sitting on the couch, reading a book. Once she saw Evan, she held her arms open. Her voluptuous body was slightly visible beneath her sheer nightgown. Evan walked over to the couch and hugged her. He took a deep breath as he rested his head against her nape. "How did the autopsy go?" "The victim was a pitiful young woman. According to our preliminary findings, we suspect it's the work of an organ trafficking ring." Evan couldn't see Carmen's reaction, but as I was standing behind him, I could.

Now, it would take more than telling everyone the truth about Elijah and Caleb, to regain their trust and loyalty. "Are you there, Zeta?" Cyrus checked if I was still hearing him through the mindlink. "Yes, I am." I answered curtly. I needed to prove to them that I wasn't cursed. But there was nothing I would be able to do that if even I still find it hard to believe that I wasn't cursed. "So if there's no curse mysteriously killing the wolves I courted in the past, why and how had they all died?" I asked no one in particular.
