The Wolfless Luna

The Wolfless Luna

Heat radiated off him in waves. Outside, the full moon blazed down like a cruel god. “No, no—” Sereal stammered. The moon had come too soon. It wasn’t due until mid-year. She turned and saw him halfway shifted. Eyes wild. That hunger—the rut—was already rising. Too much moonlight would push him over the edge. The curse wasn’t just ancient—it was engineered. The humans had experimented on him, tortured him, and tried to distil immortality from his blood. They forced him into ruts. Tried to breed him like livestock. They failed.

Moon-Scarred Vow

Moon-Scarred Vow

The pack formed a defensive line, Alpha-level warriors at the forefront. I stood on the central platform, able to observe the entire situation. Soon, the first wave of attackers appeared. Marcus's description was accurate – they were indeed 'neither human nor wolf.' Half-human, half-wolf forms, but not like a normal shift, more like they had been forcibly twisted and deformed. The most unsettling thing was their eyes – entirely black, without a trace of white or pupil. "Moon Goddess preserve us," an elder whispered. "They are cursed."

A Werewolf's Lifeline

A Werewolf's Lifeline

That three minute comes from helping the kid. While waiting for the bus to arrive, Nicholas could not help but seriously stared at the barcode for a few seconds. He remembered the day since it got marked on his wrist. At first, he thought it was only him who got that kind of mark out of nowhere but later found out it was all of them, werewolves. But for most of the wolves, the barcodes that have been marked on their wrist was a curse. A curse under an incurable curse. That’s how they could describe it. For Nicholas, the barcode was a blessing in disguise when because of it, all the werewolves were prohibited to do bad things, not just for their kind but for the humans as well.

Cursed Alpha

Cursed Alpha

She screamed, making list of the people flinch and younger children cry in fright. "But you know what, I will leave and you will never see me again. Of course I won't leave without a gift for your unborn child, whether male or female, the child shall not experience the feeling of full wolf transformation. You can try to break the curse but you will fail and you will also beg to find me and you will also fail. This is my parting gift to you," she smiled deviously and just within a blink of an eye, Rebecca was gone. ~JASON~

FORCED TO MATE THE WEREWOLF HUNTER

FORCED TO MATE THE WEREWOLF HUNTER

He flipped through the pages, stopping when he saw an illustration that made his heart freeze. Born of the Human, Turned to the Beast. ‘The humans who played with the black magic, in their quest for the ultimate power, ingested a potion concocted from the depths of darkness that turned their bodies into an abomination. Neither man nor wolf for the rest of eternity. Their blood echoes both, but is claimed by neither.’ “Thus, they are cursed to wander the earth with no sense of self. Their sole purpose was in the ripping of bones, splitting of limbs, and the shredding of skin. An unstoppable force of pure evil that can only be destroyed with black magic. They are the Hybrids.”

The Prime: Augustus

The Prime: Augustus

Theirs were more ancient, more of an abomination, the kind that could start war over again when exposed. They were a living dead, the cursed ones. They craved for dead human bodies, like vulture on its prey. They draw strength from the full moon, almost like a fairytale but it was far from that. Humans in twenty-first century would maybe call them gifted because of their strength and unmatchable intelligence. But they weren't. Not for him, though. What kind of gift would that be? Augustus had a more fitting adjective for what they were. The damned. The living embodiment of nightmare.

ALPHA REJECTION

ALPHA REJECTION

The alpha explains, nodding towards the paintings on the wall. “When the humans who had committed this sacrilege were found, the other humans refused to allow us to take them.” “A mini-war broke out in their towns, and they used a pistol to gun down some of us. We fought back and eventually overpowered them, taking the men with us and doing what was required to restore sanity to the world. The second those humans gave up the ghost, the curse eased, and we welcomed the cold bites of winter rain for the first time.” “Wow. That's the very first time I have heard that story. Nobody tells it where I come from.”

The Reaper and The Devil

The Reaper and The Devil

Most of the fantastical gods and creatures were found in the north, with the south being considered a mix of Death, Heaven, demons, and lastly, human territory. "Death and I are effectively representatives of humanity. The races in this world are often represented by the strongest of their kind, but humans are obviously a special case." Lucifer was holding the guide and flipping to pages that were relevant to what he was saying. "I would assume humans are allowed in the north?" Elijah asked, expecting this mission was going to have another twist to it. "Allowed, yes, but welcomed is another story. Reborn are treated slightly better, but you should still expect asinine behavior." Lucifer flip

Amulet of the Witch

Amulet of the Witch

He hesitates to answer. “Cursed.” He mumbles, I heard him, but I wanted to make sure it was really clear, “What?” “There’s a group referred to as The Enchanted. They are unnatural creatures that don’t really fit in anywhere. The subgroup for me is Cursed.” He seems upset by it, maybe that’s why he tries so hard to help people. If I was known as a Cursed person I’d want to do whatever I could to prove people wrong. I feel like I understand Corvu a little better.

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

Even today, the effects still rippled throughout their communities. “The humans call them Fae. They have legends surrounding the idea of being whisked away by these creatures, which is what you’re going to see today. It’s something we have wanted to put an end to for quite some time, but there’s simply too many parties involved. Each time I think I’ve cut off the head of the operation, two more take its place.” “You’re actually trying to help the humans?” For some reason, that fact made my heart squirm in my chest. The warm and fluttery feelings refused to abate, no matter how hard I shoved them away.

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.
