His lips turn up ever so slightly. “Uchiha,” was all his deep voice said before he stepped around me and his barbie girlfriend had to struggle to keep up in her sky-high heels. Uchiha? I was confused until I looked at my bag and remembered that I had recently patched it with the Uchiha crest from the Naruto manga and anime. Does he know it?

Kenny sat down, crossed his legs, and lit a big cigar. “My gift to you is number one, a beating you will remember for the rest of your life or number two, a more merciful option, you grovel at my feet begging me for mercy while you refer to me as your lord,” uttered Kenny as he blew the smoke from his cigar at Luke’s face. The aura around Serena blazed a deep red as she said the words, “I, The Witch of Artemia curse you; the moment you consummate your relationship with your mate; she will die.” Then Serena stormed out of the tent waving her wand behind her. Alaric stood there, frozen like a statue. She had shattered his life and filled it with misery and despair with just one flick of her wand.

“I’m afraid Imara may not be so easy. Ben at least understands that his life isn’t correct. He knows he doesn’t belong in Savannah among all this opulence. Imara won’t even acknowledge that something is amiss. She’s not concerned at all that it isn’t the 1890’s anymore and she won’t see the ring on her finger or the mark on her neck.
