THE CURSED ONE

THE CURSED ONE

A promise. “You do not belong in her story. Not in her light.” The wolf stepped closer, it’s massive bash making the air around her tremble. Then it raised its left paw, slow, deliberately, and hovered it over her face. A claw the size of a dagger glinted in the lightless void. Marisa screamed. High, raw and primal as the paw began to lower toward her. —————— She jolted awake with a sharp cry, heart pounding, drenched in cold sweat.

THE CURSED WOLF

THE CURSED WOLF

I had asked staring deep into Lady Percival's eyes through the mirror as she combed my hair, while caressing my cheeks fondly. She has been demonstrating her fondness for me through her attitude towards me, maybe she was just fascinated by me but who cares? She removed her eyes from my own in the mirror and turned to pick up another comb since the first one was harsh against my hair. "No we are not, we are demons," I shivered in fear as the thought clicked in my head. 'Demons? Are demons real, are they going to kill me too.' my mind was racing with negative thoughts and the possibilities of them killing

The Cursed Wolf

The Cursed Wolf

My body suddenly began to jerk and convulse uncontrollably, rattling the chains as the sound of the Vampire's voice became louder. My eyes went bloodshot, blood flowing down my cheeks. The pressure in my throat finally began to loosen and I released an involuntary gasp. Everything was red and unmoving but even through my hellish subconscious, I could see it. My mouth remained open and through it, I could see my wolf being extracted. The cloaked Vampire continued to chant and he held a medium sized but intricately designed phial which held a dark red matter and whatever was in the bottle seemed to be extracting my wolf, sucking it in.

The Cursed Bond

The Cursed Bond

I'm not old enough to have my wolf healing yet, but I can heal myself with the magic, only it wears me out, and I can't run away from him fast enough. I just need to stay hidden until he calms down. I count the tiles on the roof of the wine cellar. I can feel myself start to calm down. Slowing my heart rate, so he doesn't hear my heart beating—fear coursing through my body. A fear so potent it makes your teeth hurt. I listen as he walks past the door. He stops, and I hold my breath. I hear the handle turning and bite my lips so I don't scream. A hand grabs my arm and pulls me out of my hiding place. I brace for impact when nothing happens. I open my eyes.

Haunted

Haunted

As soon as she closed her eyes, the dream continued like it was waiting for her to come back to the subconscious world. Amara shuddered with fear as if she was the part of the dream to see the vampire again. The moment his feet landed on the soil of Hamster, the birds making merry in the air of the blue sky made a preternatural chirrup flying away. The dogs howled as if a huge calamity is going to befall. The ether which appeared bright with rays of sun suddenly turned dark with loud thunders. Within a few seconds there was an outpour of rain as if the heaven was also moarning for the origin of disaster in the city.

The cursed omega

The cursed omega

Vira finally asked, since Mom ignored me. "Nothing." She was doing that thing again. When all the attention was on her, she suddenly pretended to care about me. To try and make me feel less sad that I never get attention. And she doesn’t need to know my nightmare anyway. I’ve been having strange dreams lately. Last night, I was being chased by three wolves. We were all in wolven form. Crazy, because I rarely shift. But those wolves were after me. What made it scarier was the fact that I didn’t recognize them. They were larger. Definitely not from this pack. They chased me along the pack's border, running fast and closing the gap as I slowed down. I burned out quickly because, honestly, I’m o

My Cursed Alpha

My Cursed Alpha

Something strange stirred beneath my skin—a prickling heat that spread like wildfire through my veins, My body went into spams, My vision blurred as I stumbled to my knees, it seemed as though the world was tilting dangerously around me, my bones cracking and reshaping with agonizing intensity. Fur sprouted from my skin, coarse and pearly white, my limbs contorting into a new form. And then I shocked myself, a raspy snarl tore from my throat, My fingers curled into claws, I could feel my senses sharpened, the world now painted in stark contrasts of light and shadow from the normal colours I was used to.

A Kissing Spell

A Kissing Spell

I decided to act like a diligent student and read it thoroughly without missing on any chapter. I began reading the part called “the element curses”. It was about people being greatly afraid of one of the elements. The book said if someone fears one of the nature elements it might be connected to how his or hers previous life ended. That was why someone who died in a fire can be afraid of fire through most of his life, and the one who drown would probably be afraid of water. Moreover, if someone, for example fell or jumped of the building and died, could now be afraid of heights and flying a plane, and the one who died in some cave or cruelly buried alive, could now become claustrophobic.

I wish this book would never come to an end, i will miss Samil and kass greatly. I wouldn't mind if you can give us few bonus chapters to take a sneak peak into their lives and marriage. But all in all, the book is an emotional roller coaster that really kept me on my toes. i hope to see more.
