Rejected Luna: He wants me back

Rejected Luna: He wants me back

We’d bought them from a regular shopkeeper at the fair. “There are these glasses we bought. I did not smell anything odd from them,” I reply. “Me neither,” Serena adds in my head. She has woken up, and I can feel her worry for our pup. He sighs. “A curse can’t be sensed, Luna. That’s its specialty. You won’t know what object is cursed until you start to see the effects of it. Magic is dangerous, especially dark magic.” He mumbles, his eyes lost in thought.

Also, I love the characters in this book! I’m sad that story the main characters is finished but then we get to revisit them in the sequel. It made me laugh and cry but luckily laughed a lot! Even the FL’s wolf is great! I love it when the wolves also communicate to them and have quite the character

I love this book. The author did an amazing job with the MLs redemption arc. I've read waaaaay too many books where the ML was horrendous and only wanted th FL back because of whatever improvements to her life/appearance made her "worthy." This lead is different. He actually improves himself.

Love Spell

Love Spell

I look back at him askance, narrowing my eyes and placing my hands on my hips. —Don't play dumb Alex. You did it on purpose. I don't know how you knew. I don't know how you found it. But that necklace, that thing ... - I say pointing to the ruby inside the wooden chest. - Somehow it made me have that vision. He bows his head repentantly and sighs almost inaudibly. —Are you going to tell me what the hell is going on here? - I snort enraged.- It's one thing to read that book, which frankly scares me sometimes and quite another is to come into contact with cursed objects that make me hallucinate!

The Banished Mate: Awakening The Silver Wolf

The Banished Mate: Awakening The Silver Wolf

“And she thinks hiding behind spells and shadows will save her?” They stood in silence for a long moment, the curse pulsing between them like a second heartbeat. Then Damian looked to Ella, his eyes dark and steady. “She’s declared war.” Ella’s voice was soft, but her power simmered beneath. “Then let her come.” --- Preparing for the Unknown The cursed object now sat inside a sealed box, locked away in Mira’s protection warded with layers of runes, salt, and moon-blessed herbs. But even so, its energy could still be felt—like a heartbeat of hate thudding beneath the floorboards.

The Curse of Death

The Curse of Death

Evan squeezed harder, making Carmen cough. "Die!" "Do you really want me dead? Don't you want to know where Lyra's head is?" Carmen used the last of her strength to say this. Evan froze for a moment before slowly releasing his grip. After a while, Carmen got up and opened the fridge. There were two glass jars inside with my head and kidney both soaking in formaldehyde.

he replied, lacing up his shoes. I put a blanket over my shoulders and sat upright on the bed. “I thought the war was over. Are you expecting another fight?” “No, the war is indeed over for now.” Desmond’s focus was still on fastening his shoelaces. “What I am worried about is any leftover curse objects. Since there were so many of them, they could have easily hidden something. I need to do a thorough search for such concealed items.” “Oh, alright. Can I join you?” I requested.

Blue Thunder: The Rise of the Legend - book 1

Blue Thunder: The Rise of the Legend - book 1

She hovered her left hand above them quickly to see if she could sense something coming from them and pulled it back to grab a black glove out of her jacket. “Were they by the graves that got raided? I will take these. We just started our investigation. It’s too soon to tell if they’re related to our case, but we will look into them. Thank you for bringing them to our attention.” Coralis knew exactly what these marbles were, but she couldn’t tell what they were to the caretaker. They were not marbles: they were spelled cages containing thick and highly concentrated smoke. If someone breaks any one of them, upon contact with the ambient air, its content will materialize into a ghoul.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

It was heavy, cold, and smelled of ozone and rotten lilacs. Hailey was huddled under the central console, clutching the Ouroboros Compass, which was glowing with a sickly, pulsating purple light. "It won't stop spinning!" Hailey cried out as Jack sprinted into the room. "It's like it's trying to find a radio station but all the channels are screaming!" "Where is it?" Jack barked, scanning the room with his gun raised. "The hallway to the Panic Room," Marcus shouted. He was propped up against a wall, his silver skin gone, looking pale and weak, but still holding his pistol. "It's... it's a shadow, Jack. Bullets go right through it."

The Alpha's Rogue Mate

“No scent trail. No prints. Whoever it was knew how to erase themselves.” “Or wasn’t fully here,” I said. All three of them looked at me. “The curse doesn’t just anchor to blood,” I continued. “It anchors to attention. Fear. Expectation. He’s probing for weakness without stepping inside.” Lucas swore quietly. “Then we’re dancing on a blade.” “Yes,” I said. “But so is he.” By nightfall, the fortress had gone quiet in the way it only did before storms. I lay awake, Lucas’s arm heavy and warm around me, listening to the subtle shifts of the place I now called home. Guards changing positions. The wind worrying the banners. The child’s heartbeat steady beneath my own.

Beneath the Howling Pines

Beneath the Howling Pines

Her usually fierce gaze was softened by worry, her brow furrowed as she looked up when I approached. “Did the elders say anything more?” I asked softly, careful not to disturb the fragile calm. She nodded, glancing toward the thick woods beyond the camp’s edge. “They think the curse is tied to an artifact—a talisman. Something hidden deep in these forests. It’s said to hold power strong enough to either bind the feud between our packs forever or tear us apart completely.” My heart clenched. A talisman sounded like a legend, a myth to scare children, yet Mara’s serious tone left no room for doubt. The weight of the curse suddenly felt tangible, as if it pulsed in the very air around us.

Rebel Luna

Rebel Luna

An ordinary person wouldn’t be able to survive here for long. As his eyes scan the place, he notices traces of renegades everywhere. His theory wasn’t so far-fetched after all. Carla had always been conspiring with those wolves who tried to kill her granddaughter, and probably with the ones who attacked and nearly annihilated the pack fifteen years ago. But why? Slowly, he walks toward a piece of furniture that acts as a hidden door—he knows because he saw Carla manipulate it through the peephole. When he opens the compartment, an even gloomier hallway stretches out before him. It’s silent, but he knows someone is there because his hand begins to glow with a golden halo, signaling that whoev

Frequently Asked Questions

The cursed hunts in 'Phasmophobia' are tied to specific cursed possessions you can find in the map. Each item has its own unique trigger, and figuring them out adds this delicious layer of tension to the game. The music box, for example, starts playing a creepy tune when activated, and if you don't shut it off in time, it lures the ghost straight to you—instant hunt. The voodoo doll is another nightmare; if you poke it carelessly, the ghost might retaliate immediately. And let’s not forget the mirror—looking into it for too long drains your sanity fast, pushing the ghost into a frenzy.

What’s fascinating is how these items force you to weigh risk versus reward. The Ouija board can give you direct answers, but asking too many questions or saying 'goodbye' wrong can backfire spectacularly. The summoning circle is a double-edged sword; it lures the ghost for photo evidence, but once all five candles are lit, the hunt is unavoidable. It’s these little mechanics that make 'Phasmophobia' so immersive—every cursed item feels like a gamble, and sometimes, curiosity really does kill the ghost hunter.
