It was growing crowded with eager students; some of whom I recognized from the art signing. Em was with a few others; one girl had long blonde hair and bangs that covered her eyes. The other girl had short black hair; not as short as Em’s, but it rested just above her shoulders. All their styles were very similar as well with their ripped black pants and their tight blouses. I think the Emmet name is cute, reminded me of a chipmunk. Emmet and I talked so well and it was really nice. Sure, he's abrasive, but I don't think he's that bad. I look at the blank canvas before me. Paints at the ready. I look around my little corner at the beautiful landscapes, the portraits of random people. These pictures are the expressions of my heart. I find comfort in them. My eyes scan the portraits one by one, trying to find inspiration, when my eye travels to a corner I rarely venture to look at.
