The moon hung low in the sky, its pale light spilling through the open window of the modest chamber. The air was thick with the scent of rain. “Another story Daddy” Little Lily pleaded “Munchkin, you should get some sleep, every other child is asleep at this time of the night” “Well you always say I’m not like every other child, don’t you.” She said with a grin on her face. “Fair point kiddo, fair point. One more story and we are done, one very short story” the alpha replied with a fake frown.

As I drove down the street, I noticed he had gone unusually quiet in the back seat. "You okay back there?" I asked, glancing at him through the rearview mirror. He nodded, still pouting. "Want to hear a story?" I asked. His head lifted a bit. "Only if it's a funny one." I smiled. "Alright, once upon a time, there was a little lion who didn’t want to go to school. Every morning, he would hide in his blanket cave and pretend to be asleep." Jace chuckled. "But his mom, the lioness, was very smart. So one day, she put a cookie at the edge of the cave and said, 'Whoever comes out gets the magical cookie of bravery!'"

he said. Inside were pages full of pencil sketches and short, clumsy sentences—none of them professionally done, all of them exactly him. There was a crooked family on the first page with two parents and a rescue dog named Bix. The second page had a sketch that looked suspiciously like our penthouse couch, with the caption: Where Tuesdays live. The book was a hand-made children’s story: The Little House That Held Tuesdays. Each page held a tiny adventure—the first puddle jump, the first burned pancake, the time a kite escaped and came back with a ribbon.

"I want to hear the story of Cinderella now." Liam hurriedly searched for the story of Cinderella again. "No, no, no, I want to hear the story of The Big Bad Wolf and the Little Rabbit." 'The Big Bad Wolf and the Little Rabbit?' Again, Liam searched on his phone, but he couldn't find the story at all. "Which story?" "It's the story about a little white rabbit crossing a river and coming across a big wolf, and the two having a fight." "Uh …" Liam searched on his phone some more, but still he couldn't find it.

Isaac blurted out, I nodded and wipe Leira's sweats on her forehead and her back. "Honey, you don't need to run," I whispered, she giggled and looked at me. "Moma! look at what I found!" She said excitedly as she extends her hands, opened her palms, and show me what she found, a close pink-colored clam I croaked my neck to the side as I pretended to look amazed by what she found.

“How about a new story little one? A story with no pitchforks and nobody dying seems better for a walk in the woods, don’t you think? We wouldn’t want you to have nightmares tonight.” “Oh Gran, I’m five and a half now. I can read and everything! I don’t have nightmares anymore. Especially not from stories. They’re just make-believe!” “Some stories are real little one. Today I’ll tell you a true story, about a shy young princess who gathered up all her courage and jumped in the river to float away and hide from a whole pack of werewolves!” “A whole pack of them?” “That’s right.” “Did she know how to swim?”

Short terrifying stories that leave you insomnolent . . . definitely a must read to while away time and get sleepless with fear, hahaha. I don't own any of this stories. " So tell me what where you doing following me " " Uncle I couldn't sleep " " So you had to follow your uncle ,you shouldn't do that you know ,they are so many danger moving around the castle by this time of the night " " You mean dangerous things " " Yes and trust me you don't want to get hurt child ". " You mean something dangerous like you , Well if it's not as dangerous as you are then I don't think I have to be scared because I already seem enough .
