"He's been there two weeks. He went because he's dying. Kidneys. His family produced no donor match."

He walked away without turning back, leaving me sitting at the desk, heart racing. I let out a long sigh, running a hand through my hair. Why did he need to make it more complex? And where on earth was Cyrus? I could not handle any more of this. The room felt too empty without him here, like I was missing my anchor. I glanced again at the door, wishing he would already walk through it. I scarcely noticed the door open with a squeak when Cyrus finally appeared, looking rather stunned from the nurse's station. He snagged my attention, and I raised an eyebrow, wordlessly asking where the hell he'd been.

He asked. "How long have I been asleep?" "About a week. You were in bad shape when I found you both." He said. It's been a while since I last saw Cyrus. He took a few steps closer and I could properly see him in the dark. He was half-naked with his grey joggers hanging loosely low around his waist exposing his v-line. He has chocolate brown eyes but since it's dark outside, it seemed that his eyes were a darker shade of brown. Cyrus is a very attractive man, he worked for me years back as our private doctor. But he left because whenever he did something wrong the guilt would eat him up. He decided that it was time he focused on himself and focused on his mental health.
