The White Wolf

The White Wolf

Cyrus smiled, but his friend looked pained. “Whiskey, please,” Cyrus ordered for both of them. I filled their glasses under their heavy gaze and placed the drinks on the bar. Cyrus handed me a twenty with a wink. I didn’t understand what was going on. “Keep the change, darlin’.” A low sound vibrated from his friend’s throat before Cyrus clinked his glass in celebration. I ran the order through the register and placed the change in the tip jar. “Thanks.” “This is my good friend, Ghost. He just got back from a long assignment.” Cyrus’s voice was light and pleasant, while his friend looked out of sorts.

Night of the Rogues: Bound In Darkness

Night of the Rogues: Bound In Darkness

“I just want to say thank you, that's all. I know everyone else's name, I could just ask someone like Dee or Raze but-” “Cyrus,” he states, his voice a dark flatness that intrigues me. He has an accent. A trace of something foreign. I knew he was different. I’m pretty sure he has tattoos too, not that he ever removes his layers. “Cyrus. Okay then,” and I hold out my hand. “Thank you for, well thanks for warning me about Quinn, for catching me when I fell from the ladder, for just now…I appreciate it.” He doesn’t take my hand. But I swear he wants to. I’m certain I see his huge hands tremble just for a second. The skin on them is rougher, worked. Not like Ryan and Brody, this guy, Cryus has l

Once I pick up an Alle book, I can’t stop reading! She is an amazing author and I loved this book. There were lots of tears, but also lots of happy loving moments as well. It’s definitely a wild ride!

Amazing story! I love how original books one and two are! This book, though, captures it all! The love, laughter, setbacks, and victories with all emotions you can think of you will feel in this book. Thank you, author!

The Bully's Regret

The Bully's Regret

The table went still. Ryan muttered a low, “Oh shit,” under his breath. Beside me, I felt Cyrus go unnaturally quiet. Not relaxed quiet. Dangerously quiet. His fingers drummed once against the table before stopping completely. Then he smiled. And somehow that was worse. “Decently?” Cyrus repeated softly. Adrian held his gaze. “Yeah. You should try it sometime.” I closed my eyes briefly. Great. Fantastic. Exactly what I needed today. Cyrus leaned back in his chair lazily, though the sharpness in his pale eyes never left Adrian’s face. “You seem really interested in her problems for someone who barely knows her.”

Lean On Me

Lean On Me

Cyrus laughed, "Then I'm ready to get burned. You, Luna, Alex, I'm going to deal with all of you. Weren't you looking down on me? You thought I was a miscreant you could use. I mean, look at the plan you came up with. My reputation did not matter as long as you got Luna. I don't care about that bitch, but why do I have to suffer? You wanted everyone to see my sex video, isn't it? Well, now they're going to be seeing yours." "Don't do this," Miriam replied. "Of course, I don't want to do this," he replied. "Trust me, I don't want to do this. But it all depends on you." "What do you want?" She gritted. "Finally, we are getting somewhere," Cyrus replied. "Here are my terms: For now, I don't nee

The Apocalypse Hoarder

The Apocalypse Hoarder

Everyone is starving. Cyrus read the messages and smirked. He did not bother replying. 'Let them stew in guilt and hunger a little longer. Maybe I should let them burn off their last bit of usefulness as a suicide squad.' He touched his chin, thinking. 'A couple of moldy bread pieces and they would fight each other to volunteer.' Then his phone chimed. Several sharp ding-dong tones lit up the screen. That struck him as odd since he kept most group chats muted.

Owned By My Stepdad(MxM)

Cyrus was sitting on the black leather sofa. Legs spread. Phone in one hand. Glass of whiskey in the other. He looked up. Saw us. Smiled. Slow. Dangerous. “Well,” he said softly. “Look who finally grew a spine.” He lifted the phone. Screen glowing. The photo filled the display. Me against the bookshelf. Vane’s mouth on my throat. My head thrown back. Cyrus tilted his head. “Beautiful shot,” he said. “Really captures the moment.” Vane stepped forward.

Her Last Goodbye

Her Last Goodbye

The disciplinary probation didn't seem to affect Harley at all. If anything, he looked even more pleased with himself than the last time we met. "You older guys really don't see the big picture. After all that fuss, all you wanted was 70% of the assets? Professor Chambers is still young. It won’t be long before she makes it all back—and then some!" I didn't bother responding. Just like last time, his attempts to provoke me had no effect whatsoever. Still, if he wanted to play this game, I was more than happy to play along.

THE BEST MISTAKE (English)

THE BEST MISTAKE (English)

Cyrus gave the envelope to the old woman and it contained a large amount of money. The old woman was very happy and thanked them. After promising to call when she found out anything new, she left in a hurry. “Damn that bastard!” Adrian kicked the stairs of the hut out of anger. If the two companions had not stopped him, he might have destroyed the hut. “Calm down first and your violence now won’t help us!” Cyrus told the young man. “I’m going to kill him! I will kill that bastard!” His eyes were glazed over and he pushed Jomar who was restraining him with one of his hands.

The Iron Alpha

I heard Cyrus' loud laugh through the crowd as he watched his granddaughter dangling in the air. He mindlinked me, "it's the circle of fucking life right? But all jokes aside, April and I couldn't be prouder of you and my princess. You fucking did it. Alpha Asher and Luna fucking Leia. It's fucking amazing." "Thanks Cyrus. It really is."

I love this book as much as Alpha Osiris. I have come to love the children in this book as much as I love their parents in the first book. I can't wait to see how the next book goes, I am sure I will love it just as much as the first two.

THE GOODBYE HE MISSED

THE GOODBYE HE MISSED

He said it without agenda, without the specific pressure of a person who needed her to confide: "You can be not fine. Just for a minute. I won't tell anyone." She looked at him. Ryan Brooks, who had driven past her Portland house twice in fourteen months to check on a maintenance contractor, who had taken calls at seven AM about property logistics without asking what the property was for, who had showed up this morning with coffee and a printed article and the professional grace to know exactly how much space to take up. She said: "I'm very tired, Ryan. That's all. I'm tired." He nodded. He did not push it. They drank their coffee in the quiet of the too-large kitchen, and outside the Portla

great start..concise with nuances. hope it would end the same way. not tooo many chapters that the main characters became watered down with so many side stories. i'm reading along slowly... so that i don't have to wait for updates. keep up the good work, dear author!
Miriam
I'm only on chapter 5 of this story and I'm so invested. It's well written and I love how the female lead, Sophia, is depicted. I hope things work out for her and the children, away from the man who doesn't recognize the value in the family he's neglected.
