He spun around to Lily and enveloped her in his arms, holding her high and slowly spinning as pink petals drizzled around them.
“Raspberry’s a girl,” he said again, burying his face into her neck. “She’s going to be so loved.”
“You already bought her tiaras,” Lily sniffled, laughing and crying at the same time.
“I’ll buy a castle next.”
They didn't notice when the harpist shifted to playing Isn't She Lovely. Or when Helena released the pink glitter cannon into the sky and coated the emcee in sparkle. Or when Brenna yelled, "Nana Supreme wins! I want my prize in chocolate!"
