She was interested in revenge. She slowly moved down the stairs, still lost in thought. The crowd cleared the middle of the ballroom, and the band began to play their instruments. She grabbed the mans slimy hands and held back her expression. She felt like she was holding a slug, which made her want to throw up all over him. But, as a princess, she had to play her part, which is precisely what she did as she danced with him until the end of the song. The man finished the dance by kissing her hand softly before stepping away and smiling at the King.

"But I'll make you ready for me. I'll make you mine." Dmitri's fingers continued to stretch me, but his touch became harsher, more demanding. "You're going to take all of me, little prince," he growled, his eyes gleaming with intensity. I felt a surge of excitement mixed with a hint of frustration. "Why are you calling me little prince?" Annie stood like a guard by the tall window in her room. The moon in the sky looked like a shiny silver coin. Its pale light made her face look bright and dark in places, showing how smart she was, now that her eyes were squinted as she thought.
