The Real Mistress

The Real Mistress

And Isabella couldn’t resist to smile back as she nodded at him. ~ At the Villanueva's mansion, Dalia goes back inside the mansion and approached Rose who's busy cleaning up all the expensive vases at the living room area. "Rose!" Dalia called out, and Rose turned her attention from the glass vase she had picked up. "Dalia, you've done helping Madam Cynthia at the garden's side putting some of her favorite prized roses?" Dalia shake her head as she walked closer to Rose. "That's the problem, Rose! Nerissa suddenly showed up at the garden insisting that she will help Madam Cynthia instead of me." Rose frowned at this.

Blood Roses

Blood Roses

The smell of smoke never left her. Even after five years, Inés still woke up coughing some nights, the phantom scent of ash curling through her dreams like a ghost refusing to rest. “Name?” the guard at the Delgado estate gate asked, his voice flat but suspicious. Inés gripped the strap of her cheap bag tighter. “Inés Montoya. I’m here for the maid position.” The man’s eyes raked over her; young, pretty, average enough not to draw attention, which was the point. He muttered something into his walkie-talkie, then motioned for her to go inside.

Fated to the Enemy

Fated to the Enemy

Dahlia's POV Continued He walked slowly to me from the fireplace. His steps seemed calculated as he made his way towards me. When he reached me, his body towering over mine when a smile took his features as he held his hand towards me so I could hand the phone to him. When I handed it to him he leaned down then kissed my head before bringing it to his ear. "I'm going to text you a number, it's to a girl here that Dahlia has taken as a friend. Her name is Rose."

This story is refreshingly captivating and all it's own, in the sense it has a fresh take on many aspects in regards to family, wolf dynamics and genuine love. The author does a very good job of portraying an actual genuine loving relationship and finding strength in that love. kudos to the author

BELLADONNA

BELLADONNA

I try to take care of her at work and outside work, her husband does everything he can to keep her out of trouble. Norah pouts, and I pull her out of the kitchen until we're in a safe, quiet zone. She shows me a small vile wrapped in a silky napkin, watching with wide eyes to see my reaction. "What the hell is that?" I have to ask. She grins. "It's another poison to add to my collection. I finally got the belladonna extract," she explains. "Are you crazy?" I whisper-shout, looking around. "This is a restaurant! You have to stop bringing them here!"

Black Roses for Her

Black Roses for Her

Perhaps he had not loved me for a long time now. It was my fault for never noticing—for stupidly believing that true love would never die. Now, Lara smiled as she leaned against the doorway, purring so softly her voice could melt anything, "I heard you made pasta. Can I have a bowl? With minced ginger, please. My cravings are really terrible these days." "You've got it," John grinned lovingly. "Who would spoil my baby if not me?" Still, he soon paused when he inadvertently noticed the black roses outside. "I'll tell the gardener to uproot those flowers. They remind me of Claire's disgusting face—I don't want them to hurt our eyes!"

Daisy Hunter

Daisy Hunter

Daisy's voice was laced with trepidation and anxiety. "Before you say anything, there's something I want to give you," Seth said, interrupting Daisy. He pulled out a small box from his pocket and handed it to Daisy, Smiling gleefully. Opening it, Daisy's eyes widened in surprise as she gazed at the shimmering ring carefully placed in the box. "Oh my God!" Daisy's voice was vehement as she almost leapt from her chair. "Seth, this is beautiful and very lovely." Her voice was barely above whispers and mellifluous.

Red Rose

Red Rose

"I don't want the grape vines to die." I pitied these vines, which seemed worthless to outsiders. I pitied myself too, who seemed worthless to outsiders. At midnight, Kash sent me home. I stood in the yard for a long time. There were many flowers planted here, almost all of which Jeffrey liked. I picked these flowers in turn and packed them. The tulip was planted after Jeffrey saw the wonderful colors it had. The Daisy, representing purity and love, was brought back by Jeffrey after watching a ballet performance. The Sunflower, with its vitality, was given by Jeffrey when he went to the amusement park.

I loved this book. It is getting hard to decide which one is my favorite, especially when each member of the family has a very unique story. What I love about Becca's books is she put you on an emotional roller-coaster, from love, laughter, betrayal and even sacrifice. Definitely check it out

The Dark Rose

The Dark Rose

C L.L Bones
I huff quietly and do my best to ignore his leering eyes as he pushes the dazed woman away from him and licks the remaining blood from his lips. “Rosalyn is it? Don’t be shy and come stand beside your master,” Matthias says to me as he places his glass on a brown coaster on the coffee table. The way he calls Paul my master makes my skin prickle. Paul fists his hands but looks to me and nods for me to come stand beside him. My legs feel shaky as I step closer, keeping my head to the floor and hoping we won’t be here long. “Lift your head and look at me, Rosalyn. It’s rude not to look at someone when they speak to you,” Matthias demands calmly and I don’t like where this is going.
