I paid and drove home immediately. “Get me two tumblers for Max and me.” I said to a maid, as I arranged the table with fruits. “Here, ma'am.” The maid said shortly, after she arrived with the glasses. “Are these Max’s favorite glasses?” I asked, then checked them. “Oh yes, they are. “Nothing I have, is truly mine.” Daisy’s POV One thing was certain, Hades’ kingdom had a different dynamic from my pack. Miss Amy was like a mother figure to the maids in the servant quarters. She wasn’t as cold as miss Ruth had been. “Priya will show you to your room, breakfast is by six, during breakfast your duty will be read out to you” miss Amy said. “Thank you,” I replied, turning away from her. Our footsteps echoed against the cold tiles as we moved, the servant quarters looked exquisite like it was a castle.

Still somewhat asleep, I remained motionless and she continued to tighten her arms around me. “Oh babe, I came to help you! This is your first day as President Gray’s secretary. Aren’t you excited?!” She asked, practically bouncing up a
