Davina’s ghost form emerged from the darkness, hands outstretched, a blue-white line of light from her hand holding the barrier behind me in place.
“Not this time, Goth,” Davina frowned, not looking my way.
I folded my hands into fists and flicked my wrist, and an earth-shattering snap followed.
I released my fist, and Mira’s remains fell to the floor in a small thud.
“No way, I’m getting out of here,” Zeke struggled to rise to his feet.
I stopped him with an outstretched hand toward his direction. Flicking my wrist, he was up in the air in an instant, hurled towards the nearest wall and going limp.
