“You did it! My brother is in a coma because of you! My family is in a mess because of you! Oh, and news flash? I didn’t kill Cleo. She’s alive…I spoke to her!” Damien’s smile grew, slow and dangerous. “You spoke to who I wanted you to speak to, Olivia. Cleo is dead. You killed her.” He turned to the reporters. “I won’t go into the details of what happened years ago. Not here. But I will say this…yes, people very close to me were involved in the shooting that left her brother in a coma. I was there that night. Wrong place, wrong time. I didn’t pull the trigger. I didn’t order it. I had no part in it. I was just a bystander too.”

The Queen turned to the King, her mouth opening to argue, but his raised hand silenced her. Damien’s shadow fell over me as he crouched slightly, his voice low enough for only me to hear. “Don’t look, little flame,” he murmured, the words gentle despite the tension in his tone. “You don’t need to see this.” The trapdoors fell with a sickening thud. My father, my mother, my brother—gone. A scream tore from my throat, raw and uncontrollable. I collapsed to the ground, my legs giving out beneath me. I didn’t need to see it; the sound alone was enough to shatter what was left of my heart.

Olivia stuttered, screaming. “I do not have a mother,” Damian snapped. His eyes moved to the maid who was in tears “You are lucky that you spoke the truth, untie her” He ordered. She wept, thanking us. I felt bad that Olivia made her poison me after she threatened to kill her child. Damian slit Dorathus' neck. He moved to Olivia “Y.. you can't do this, please” She stuttered, begging. “You should have thought about that when you not only lied to me but also tried to kill my unborn child and destroy her womb” Damian

“Where is Adrian?!” My chest tightened. “Damian,” I whispered, so soft I barely heard myself say it. My knees felt weak underneath me. This wasn’t possible. Damian was dead. I got the call five years ago, that night. I saw the news about the crash, how the wreckage was too damaged for anyone to be identified. I had mourned him. I buried that grief a long time ago. So how was he standing here, alive, screaming in the middle of Adrian’s lobby?

Damien said. For a moment neither of them spoke. The fire continued to burn quietly behind them. Damien finally broke the silence. “He had already made the deal with the prosecutor.” Robin Hood nodded. “Which means he had every reason to stay alive.” Damien’s expression hardened. “No one about to walk out of prison kills himself.” Robin Hood’s gaze remained steady. “Exactly.” Damien leaned forward again. “So someone silenced him.” Robin Hood nodded slowly. “And his wife and child disappear the same night.”

“I wish I could give you that again.” “You can’t,” she said softly. “No one can.” The fire crackled between them. The warmth brushed her face, but the chill inside her didn’t fade. She turned her head slightly, her voice barely above a whisper. “Damian… did you really kill my father?” The question landed like a blade. He didn’t look surprised. Instead, he took a slow breath and met her eyes. “Yes,” he said finally. “But not the way your brother told you.”

Damien directly crushed Zayn's leg, he preferred slow death snapping the veins on their necks, disemboweled some organs, letting them die slowly and painful. Zayn groaned in pain his back full of sweat, he didn't want fight anymore. "Resisting is futile.. death is inevitable..." Damien wrapped his fingers around Zayn's neck elegantly, earning a scoff from him. "You'll get your retribution! You'll die an horrible death..." Damien chuckled, he wasn't dumb he could differentiate good from bad. The people he killed they didn't have one ounce of good in them, only black heart and vile mouths.

Hand the drive to him, tell him everything, and watch Eze burn. Or plug it in myself. End the merger. End Damian’s empire. End us. The door opens. Damian steps in, blood on his sleeve again, but not his. Eyes bright with victory. He sees me on the cot. Smiles, slow, dangerous. “We got them,” he says. “HiAce driver. Two shooters. They’re in the basement now. Talking.” He crosses the room. Kneels beside the cot. Kisses me, deep, claiming.

I did not come to scream or strike. “You got him killed,” I said quietly. The words did not shake, but they landed heavy in the room. Vanessa flinched, her jaw tightening as she looked away. “I’m not the one that pulled the trigger,” she whispered. “But he died because of you,” I replied. My chest tightened, and the pain got sharp but manageable. “Damian is gone because you didn't know when to stop.” She pressed her lips together, her shoulders shaking as she struggled to hold herself.

"Daddy will keep you safe." As he started to say the magic words that would take her to safety, an arrow flew past his ear and struck the wall behind him. He had hardly any time to react when another arrow hit him right in the chest. The sharp pain shot through his body like a lightning bolt, making him stagger backward. Draven felt blood oozing from the wound. He fell to his knees but refused to give up. With every bit of strength he had left in him, he kept saying the spell, even though his voice was getting weaker with each word he spoke.
