Blood pours from his shoulder and side like a fucking waterfall. “Kyle,” I breathe as I look past him to the man who was supposed to be dead the second time. How the fuck does this bastard keep cheating death?

Sharp and composed as always. Jaxon smirked faintly. “Guess I’m not dead yet.” Damian’s mouth tugged upward. “Good. Would’ve been a shame to lose my best head of security. And, well—the only one I trust.” That meant something. Coming from Damian, it meant everything. Jaxon swallowed hard. “What about Calder?” “Dead,” Damian said flatly. “You shot him. Damian let out a bitter laugh. “For crying out loud, Mum — he destroyed every file about Cassie’s murder.” His voice shook with rage. “He insisted they call it an accident so no one could trace anything back to him.” His expression twisted in pain. “Killing Xander would be nothing to him.” Liam nodded once, slow. Cold. “Exactly.” Damian continued, voice shaking. “He even killed that woman in front of her sons. He didn’t care Kelvin was just a kid. That man is a devil.”

He looked up and saw his beta standing there and he waved at him to leave them which the latter did quietly. "I brought great news for you that will certainly bring an endless smile on your lips." Lambert said as he sat down properly on his seat. "Go on, spill it." Alpha Caine said with a little curiosity. "It has been confirmed that Alpha Damien is dead, in fact as we speak, his pack members are done howling as a sign of their last respect to him." Lambert informed with a proud smile as he crossed his legs. "Wow, you have done so well, you have done so well!" Alpha Caine said as he hides his happy expression, denying Lambert of the expression he so madly wants to see.

Damian I brought Ophelia to one of the rooms and told her to rest then made my way to the bottom deck. We only had a few more hours before we would be ready to leave Russia and finally go home. Especially after what he pulled." I swallowed hard, the weight of his words pressing down on me. "You mean... kill him?" Damien’s jaw tightened, and his eyes narrowed. "Yes, Castiel. Kill him. What else would I mean?" I hesitated, searching for the right words, even though I knew none would satisfy him. "Is that necessary?" I asked quietly. "I mean... isn’t there another way?
