The Wrong that felt Right. Damian's POV My name is Damian Vale. I'm twenty-five years old and the only son of industrialist Maxwell Vale. I'm the heir to a huge fortune that can buy politicians and banks. When people hear my name, they think of power, beauty, and honor. But they failed to see the cage.

“That empire was built on blood and silence. Damian has spent half his life trying to clean what can’t be washed away.” “His father…” I began carefully, “what kind of man was he?” The air in the room changed — cooler now, still but heavy. “Brilliant,” she said finally. “But cruel. He saw people as assets, not souls. Damian was different even then — too gentle to survive in that world. Damian Today I’m going to the shop. It’s been about a week since my uncle Skull left and everything has been calm. Damian sighed with his eyes closed, turned to give Cassie his back, and murmured a hushed “Fuck.” But Cassie just stared at him, with sorry in her eyes. “He’s had a hard time without his mother,” said Damian, still giving Cassie his back, “The day he turned ten, he remembered that his mother died while giving birth to him.” He paused, “That made him kind of moody before puberty.” Damian chuckled. Cassie made a soft chuckle, but her face went straight to worry again, “He seems very attached to you.” Cassie said, looking where Blake had stormed off, then back at Damian.

But then, his parents died when there was an attack from the Old Council that was led by the old man who lived in the cottage in the neutral territory. The old man was Luna Marina’s grandfather. Damien unlocked the door before he went inside the room. He put the keys on the counter before he made his way to the kitchen to drink some water. The frappe was good and all but it was too sweet for his taste. Damien needed to cleanse it with some water before he made his way to the couch to watch some shows before his comic show tonight.

He stood up. “ Good morning mom, dad” he greeted them as they sat down. They smiled at him. His mother Luna Sonia was a vibrant and lovely woman who always smiled while his father alpha Christopher was a calm and calculative man. A most needed trait in an alpha. He took a seat opposite them. His father cleared his throat before speaking. “ Son, is everything okay? We saw you leaving the party early” asked his father. Damian sighed. He knew his parents were worried about him. He shouldn't have left the party the way he did but he couldn't help it. He needed to tell them about what the elders told him.

Her stepmom had told her she was getting married to Damian Wilson in a few days and although Layla did not have a boyfriend she was not ready to get married at nineteen. Layla has known Damian since she was a kid, Damian was older than her by six years and back then anytime Layla came around to play with Kendra, Damian’s sister, He usually hides in his room because of his body. Most kids in his school back then do call him “ fatty” Damian was a plus size back then and was always ashamed to associate with others but it all came to a halt when he traveled abroad to further his education.

Damian’s father said Damian grudgingly sat back, muttering profanities under his breath. To the outside world, Damian is a mature adult who has a flourishing career, but at home, he was just a normal young adult. The thought made me smile.

When they battered his body to the point were he couldn’t move, he avoided his brother, saying he was busy.
