Damien sits sprawled in his chair like he owns the world—lazy, lethal, beautiful. One elbow is braced against the armrest, his head propped on his hand, long dark hair falling loose around his shoulders like he couldn’t be bothered to tie it back for anyone. Strands slip forward when he tilts his head, framing a face carved sharp enough to cut—high cheekbones, a strong nose, a mouth built for sin and bad decisions.

"Damien, what's wrong? What's going on?" He closed his eyes and shook his head from side to side. "Nothing is wrong. Nothing has ever been more right then it is at this moment." Warm blood trickled down her throat and this sight made Xavier's eyes turn completely black. A loud boom rocked the mansion, and debris fell all around them. Damian laughed like a lunatic. He enjoyed the power he had, the fear on Cassie's wild eyes and the frustration Xavier felt. "After I kill you, I'll make her mine",Damian said while inciting Xavier. "And this delectable body you're so crazy about will become mine to do as I please". Then he licked the blood trailing down Cassie's neck, making her shudder with revulsion.

The intensity, the burning desire, the way his eyes darkened with something forbidden like he wouldn’t hesitate to take me right there. My pulse stumbled, my heart betrayed me, and my composure threatened to slip away. Damien stepped forward, his eyes on me the whole time without sparing a glance at Caterina. She faced him, but he didn’t look away, not even for a second. Standing a few away, his lips parted to speak, words that further fueled my uneasiness and anxiety.
