"Who are you?" It growled louder and I sighed. Oh my goodness I was so stupid. Why didn't I realize what was happening? This was Daniel, he was a Lycan which was why he was able to morph into half-human and half-woman. This was his lycan form. It was no wonder why people were very scared of him. Who wouldn't? Even I was very afraid of him. "I'm sorry, I didn't know that it was you. I can't remember the last time that I saw something or someone so huge like you. I mean..."

I say and he says bye before hanging up. Daniel needs to understand that his not the only person who's going to have a say in this relationship. Daniel’s smile deepened slightly. “Stick to the news soon.” The confidence in his tone unsettled Alexander immediately. Not arrogance. Certainty. Like he genuinely knew something Alexander didn’t.

Daniel’s mouth curled into a cruel grin when he saw me. “Well, well, well,” he announced, voice slurred. “If it isn’t Romeo and the Whale.” The words hit like a punch to the stomach. Noah’s face darkened instantly. “Daniel. Shut up.” But Daniel wasn’t done. He stepped forward, waving his arms like a circus announcer. “Look, guys! Noah Carter — future college athlete, possible NFL god — hooking up with Jessa Lombardi, who’s… what, like a size ‘I need a forklift’?”
