He scowled. I chuckled, amused and planted a soft kiss on his lips as I cupped his cheek. "My daughter is jealous. Her future boyfriend will need a lot of patience." Most of my friends don’t hold my hand during slow dances.” “Are you people conspiring against me?” Ethan muttered. “Relax. I’m just saying, you looked happy. And God knows you could use a little happy in your life.” Daniel tilted his head, as if testing him. “Unless you’re going to tell me she’s a fake girlfriend or something.”
