Daniel Story Book Novels & Stories

I ask, while having my eyes torn towards him. Daniel has a novel held up in his hands, from nowhere. I guess his reading addiction has not faded a bit, as he doesn’t care to look up. He reads while replying to my question. “No, there isn’t an issue” he states. “They left to celebrate” he states. “Celebrate? “ my eyes lift “celebrate what? “ my inquisitive parts catch on. “To celebrate your engagement” Daniel replies, still glued to his book. My head tings at his response. He sure doesn’t know what he’s saying, or is definitely lost in the pages of his book, that makes him forget, I’m not here among them.

His eyes were already beginning to droop. I reached for the book resting on the small table beside his bed. “What story tonight?” I asked. Daniel shifted slightly beneath the blanket. “The brave wolf one.” I opened the book and sat down in the chair beside the bed. The story was simple. A young wolf cub who wandered too far from his pack and had to find the courage to return home. It was the kind of story meant to teach strength and belonging. As I read, Daniel listened quietly. At first his eyes followed the pages.

Like her body was arguing with her about it and she was making it comply anyway. I stayed where I was. After a moment she said: "Tell me something that has nothing to do with any of this." I thought about it. "When Daniel was twelve he decided he was going to learn to cook," I said. "Properly. From scratch. He bought four cookbooks with his birthday money and spent an entire summer attempting increasingly complicated recipes." She turned her head to look at me. "How did it go," she said. "He was terrible," I said. "Genuinely. Impressively terrible. He made a beef bourguignon that our housekeeper described as a hate crime against French cuisine."

Junior sat waiting on the bed, still clutching the storybook. "Which story do you want to hear?" Daniel asked, taking the book from Junior's hands and opening it. "The one about the dragon and the knight!" Junior answered with enthusiasm. Daniel began reading in a calm voice. Junior listened with bright eyes. Clarissa sat in the chair in the corner of the room. She watched them both with a gentle smile. From the outside, this scene looked perfect. A harmonious family. A father reading to his child. A mother watching with full tenderness.

He was wearing a tuxedo and Daniel, my son , loves to see a man in a tux. "Mommy Mr. Desmond is so cool." Daniel said in excitement. "Yes he is." I replied and Daniel suddenly fell silent. "Danny what's wrong?" I asked in concern. "Mommy, when will I meet my Daddy?" Danny asked as he looked up to me with hopeful eyes and I smiled sadly. "I don't know hunny,don't you like spending time with Mommy?" I asked him and his shoulders dropped. " I love Mommy but I want a Daddy as well. Joseph always talks about how he and his Dad play football together and I want to do that with my Daddy as well." Daniel replied as he played with the pencil he was holding.

A quiet night enveloped the village of Bibury. After having dinner with Grandpa Jhon and Grandma Sophia, Daniel walked towards his room with a happy smile on his face. Earlier that afternoon, his moments with Stefany had been so memorable that he couldn't stop thinking about the girl he secretly liked. As soon as he entered his room, Daniel immediately grabbed his diary from his desk drawer. The teenage boy then opened a new page, took a deep breath, and began to write enthusiastically.

That earns me a glare from Owen. “Alright boys that’s enough. Derek keep the book I gave you and read at your own pace. It has all the knowledge you’ll need about all the other mythical creatures and the realms. If you have any questions not found in that book you can ask me or Davina’s uncle, Gabriel. That man is a walking history book. He knows everything,” informs dad. “I do have one question. You said Daniel was injured and we all know he has a prosthetic. Why didn’t he use magic to make it reappear or whatever,” I ask.

I wanted to provide Daniel with a stable environment to grow up in. One Friday afternoon, I took Daniel to the town library. He picked up a children's picture book, flipping through it with a smile. I gently urged him, "Daniel, don't read for too long today. When we get home, you need to rest. Mommy has some work to do." Daniel nodded and reluctantly put down the book, still excitedly saying, "Mommy, I learned so many new things today! Can we come back next time?" I smiled and stroked his head. "Sure, we'll come back more often when you're out of school."

Daniel said staring at his dad "I took specially and cool care of her" derrick said flipping the next page of the magazine "Really!! " Mrs Sarah screamed "didn't I " derrick asked "well you did, but not much " she said with an eye roll "At least he did mom " Daniel said resting his head on her shoulder "so, did you love Mexico " Mrs Sarah asked "yeah! I love it alot.. Mom enough of all these questions,, am starving " Daniel pouted ",Nana, get some delicious food for Daniel " Mrs Sarah screamed

” Doctor Bill exclaimed, “I don’t think these whole books belong to you. What is this?” “Yeah actually they don’t, my classmates want to shine like me so I told them about Doctor Bill, the mathematics genius in my hood, I know you are going to help them with their mathematics problem.” Already Daniel’s parents had left, leaving Daniel behind. Daniel quickly dropped the books on the trunk of the car of Doctor Bill and ran away.
