Dakoda Today is Derek's first birthday, so Kasey, Korey, Gage, and I are preparing for his birthday party. Derek loves watching Paw Patrol, so we decided to have a Paw Patrol theme for his party, even though his daddies wanted a surfing theme. We started by decorating the living room with Paw Patrol banners, balloons, and streamers. We even found a Paw Patrol tablecloth and plates to match. The room looked vibrant and exciting, just like Derek's favorite show.

Danny studies my face carefully before continuing. “Everybody’s been lying to you. Me. Clinton. The school. All of us.” I stare at him. There’s something strange in his expression tonight. Usually, Danny carries himself with this arrogant confidence that makes you want to punch him sometimes. Tonight, he just looks tense. Almost desperate. “We’re not who we told you we are.” I raise an eyebrow. “What does that even mean?” He hesitates. Then finally— “We’re werewolves.” The silence afterward lasts two seconds before laughter bursts out of me.

Dingo/Davin POV Dane slowly walked back to the Pack House. I knew Danny had fallen asleep on top of me from the gentle snores and limp arm at my side. I mind linked Sean. I couldn’t shift until Danny was clear of me. He came out and smiled. A small laugh escaped him at the predicament I was in. Sean walked up to her, “Danny, it’s time to wake up. You have to wake up so Dingo can shift.” “Oh? Hmmm.” She said and slowly sat up.

“I know you guys offered to extend the room for another week, but I don’t think I’ll need it.” “We’ll keep it open in case you want to escape.” Anton patted my hand with a smile and a knowing look between me and DJ before joining Annette and Danny. “That’s your boy, huh?” DJ brought my attention back before I could figure out what to say. Instant concern flooded me when it looked like someone had kicked him straight in the gut. “My whole world,” I hummed, watching Danny run to the water. “Since he could read, he’s been obsessed with all things water and sea creatures. Mom and Dad took him to the shore one time, and he did not want to leave. His father loved the ocean too.”

My eyes searched for Kylie as Penny told me all about her enemy turned friend and the fun they had on the playground now. Danny ran to me next and his chatter was a bit more broken. He was still learning how to talk and Penny spoke for him half the time so he didn't need a lot of words yet. He hugged my neck and told me to throw him, his favorite activity when I was around. Honey came and took him from me, telling him we didn't do that in the house before she, too, hugged me. "I've been talking to Chuck on the phone. I'm going to meet with him again soon, and I want you to come," She said after she put Danny back on his feet. I watched him toddle away before I acknowledged her.

Do you understand him?” I shift to get more comfortable and to be able to see Danny with both eyes. He is a prankster and does not discriminate. The wild look in his eyes tells me he is up to something and I probably won’t enjoy being a part of it.

Danny quickly ran from the hospital to the packhouse. He needed to get this note to Alpha Ryder and Luna Ryle. When he barged through the front doors, Drake and Draven stopped him in his tracks. “Whoa, whoa, whoa there young wolf,” Drake held his hands out, “where’s the fire?” “Alpha Drake, my apologies but I must see Alpha Ryder and Luna Ryle.” Danny panted. “They haven’t made it down to breakfast yet,” Draven told him. “We can help you.”

Laura said, clearly not amused with the testosterone flooding the room. A slow, malevolent smile spread across Danny's face. Xy fought hard to stay in control of his features. He wouldn’t give the man the satisfaction of getting to him. “You know, you talk a big talk, but really, how do you think you’re any better than I am?” Danny sneered. Xy guffawed. “Let me count the ways.” Danny was slowly shaking his head. “It isn’t like you were any better than I was at keeping her reined in. Where is she now, hot shot?”

Dane, his face red with rage, shook his head. "No police," he said. "Not for him." Without another word, he turned. Danny had gotten home with Sally as Dane went to his door and pounded on it. "Danny!" he called. "Time to dance." Danny emerged, without his shirt. "What?" he asked. "Get your shit," Dane said. "I'll explain on the way." Sam came out of the room then. "Dane, please, no!"

After she sweats, make sure to wipe her off promptly so she doesn't catch a cold again. Allen: How was your day today? Was Aliana happy? Jasper: How about we find an opportunity to go out and have fun with Aliana too, honey? Terry: Hmm, this little girl looks adorable. The moment Danny sent it out, his phone started vibrating like crazy. His hands went numb from the shock. But the smile at the corner of his mouth never dropped. Click on Allen's profile picture, in the input dialogue box, his fingers quickly typed. Danny: Grandpa, I have something I want to tell you.
