I feel relieved wash through me and instantly, I want to know everything about her, who her parents are, why she’s got me by the balls and how I can flush her out of my system. I think I saw her at the party earlier today, Dante and Savanna. I had known about Savanna from one of those classes I had with Dante, she’s the brand ambassador of one of the wines that the King empire produces.

Dante squeezed his eyes shut as something cold slid through his thoughts—not memories, but possibilities. Painful ones. Aiden alone. Aiden captured. Aiden breaking. A black SUV pulls up, dust billowing around it as it comes to a stop. The door opens, and sure enough, but it’s Dante, his expression grim as he steps out. He’s followed by Axton for some reason. Of course, I fucking forgot Dante is based here. Fuck, that demon did a number on me. “Ah, I think I might like the calvary,” I greet him, my voice a low growl. “Took you long enough, asshole.”

Dante turned around slowly and said, "Renee, I've been reflecting all the way, and I think I've taught you with the wrong method." "Uh... " Renee rolled her eyes and pondered for a while. "In fact, when you were teaching me, I did understand. But when I was taking the exam, what I remembered was not... not those questions, but your face... then ... then I was distracted, and failed the exam in the end." Don’t get me wrong, I completely understand that we are very much a part of the business they did want in the first place so they have to keep up appearances and make themselves known. If anyone of my guys should be feared it would be Dante. He’s the jokester, the fool everyone thinks can’t be serious. Dante’s imagination and fascination with mid-evil torture divides a gore makes him one of those people who would take enjoyment out of watching someone slowly bleed out while watching them suffer until he gets his answers.

Dante thought that Ella didn't understand the situation and just wanted to bring her child here to broaden his horizons, so he whispered to her as they walked, "I know about this Youth Class. My cousin took the exam a few years ago. It's said that the questions are very difficult. Your son is so young and you're letting him take this kind of exam. Isn't it too hard for him?" Ella nodded. "Okay, I understand." Dante could tell from her expression that she was determined to take the child to the exam, so he didn't try to persuade her any further. "Well, let me take you there then. My bidding meeting this morning is near the University of Science and Technology." Ella waved her hand. "No need."
