Daphne let out a long sigh as she sank onto her bed. She adjusted herself into a comfortable position, making sure her pad stayed in place. Then she reached for her phone and opened X. Anthony then whispered, "I was late getting Daphne. You're a lucky man, Asher. But I'm sure you've been eyeing him for a long time." I immediately pushed Anthony away and forcibly released his hug. I wasn't happy with what Anthony whispered earlier. What I suspected turned out to be true. Anthony has had feelings for Daphne since they were friends in high school. I follow her gaze to see him slouched on a seat alone, nursing a bottle of whatever that is, his hair is framed across his face, making him look like someone who hasn’t had proper sleep in days. “I’ll go check on him.” Arya says, slipping out of my hands. My body instantly goes cold the moment I am not holding her anymore, sighing, I watch as she saunters over to his side and seats in the chair facing him. His face brightens up a little as he talks to Arya; of course, my Arya has that kind of effect on everybody. The door opens and Daphne works in, cheeks flushed from the cold. Offering an apologetic smile, Daphne remarked, "I'll need to wash the chocolate off my hair. Regrettably, I won't be able to make coffee for you." Edgar’s gaze lingered on her, his eyes filled with tenderness. "I do not want to visit your apartment just because of coffee.Speaking of your hair,could you allow me assist you in drying it,please?” Daphne found no reason to decline. She had been involved with Edgar for several dates, their connection deepening with each passing encounter. So she saw no reason not to invite him into her apartment. With a smile adorning her face, she replied, "Then I'll wash my hair after brewing the coffee."

Moments later… Daisy walks into the classic restaurant, she holds her handbag in her left hand containing the Marriage contract. Stepping into the restaurant, a waitress directed her to a private lounge, Seth had almost read her mind and booked them a private meeting place. "Wow, you look stunningly beautiful." Seth Nathaniel said as he hugged Daisy Hunter. The scent of her cologne was intoxicating, a familiar aroma that always brought a sense of comfort and warmth. Daisy smiled at Seth's compliment, her heart heavy with the weight of what she needed to discuss.

Daphne was fast asleep in the living room, the soft glow of the TV casting flickering shadows across the walls.
