Darius X Alador Mga Nobela at Kwento

Acasia Sarn's lair was different. Not as comfortable as Bastian's, barren actually. Calista, his bride, welcomed me with a soft melodic voice. She was much older than I was, her hair long and grey, her face wrinkled but the beauty she once held was still evident. It was surreal meeting a claiming bride whom I'd studied in school. The other, Megan, belonging to Tahr. She was middle aged, with graceful beauty and still full of life. The dragons seemed relaxed, friendly, and curious of me until Laryn arrived. I received a sharp jerk to my hand, which brought me closer to Bastian's side within seconds of the devastatingly handsome man's approach. With gentler and more subtle moves, Sarn and Tahr

Before Kael could respond, another voice entered the space. “She does.” Alaric had reached the lower ground. He stopped several paces to the side, positioning himself where he could see both Alphas and Elara. Darius’s eyes narrowed. “Ironwood,” he said. “You’re far from home.” Alaric inclined his head slightly. “So are you.” Darius’s gaze flicked briefly toward the Ironwood lines, then back to Elara. “This doesn’t concern you,” he said. Alaric’s expression didn’t change.

Sable punched him straight in the nose and when we left, we hadn’t thought about him, except to hear about the compensation. My focus has been on Jasper, Giselle, rogues, and a lot of other things, but not Darius. Truth be told, we thought that chapter was closed. So, it’s surprising to see him here. “What the fuck are you doing here, Alpha Darius?” I growled. Behind me are the warriors, ready to defend their Luna. The surge of protectiveness over their Luna can be felt through the pack bond. “I came to see my chosen Luna, Alpha Jaxon.” Darius said.

He turned and ran back toward the gates without saying another word. I stood still, my heart racing. The twins woke up. Leo pushed his small face against my chest and made another low growl. I gently tickled them, whispering soft words to keep them calm. The gates opened with a loud creak. Alpha Damon walked out first. He looked just exactly as I remembered him. He had tall, broad shoulders, golden eyes that once made my heart melt. Those same eyes of his stared at me with surprise and something deeper that I could not name. Cassandra stood right behind him, her arms crossed and her face was already twisted with hatred as usual.

Once a permanent fixture on my head, now they only appear under the full moon. I was born to rule my kingdom. Now I wear my exile like a second skin I cannot shed. I raise my arms and close my eyes, letting the humid night settle around me. The wind lifts my hair, brushing gentle fingers across my skin. My muscles are taut, like springs pulled to their snapping point and ready to unleash the raw strength dwelling deep within. I am Darius, the Herd King, ruler of a realm lost to curse and rot. I’ve reigned over a kingdom, broken bones, bled and burned. But I’ve never wanted like this.

I say, still watching Seraphina until my dad pulls me roughly to my feet. "You heard him, Abaddon fought off six adult rogues, single handed to protect the pack." He raises my hand, ignorant of the pain in my shoulder and smiling proudly at the rest of the pack members in the clearing. "He will make a fine Alpha when the time comes. This calls for a celebration." "Alpha, with your permission, I'd like to take Seraphina home." Sera’s father asks.

Because after that day, he was frequently called into the Alpha's office, apparently the Alpha hadn't given up yet, he had called witches and used all sorts of torturous methods to try and make Darius transform, but all his attempts were futile, all it did was leave the seven-year-old child traumatised. Darius' small body was littered with scars and bruises he accumulated over time because of what the Alpha was doing to him, this made him avoid Alana, and Adryan afraid that they would find out about his injuries which in turn would lead them to learning about him being a half-ling and that they would also turn against him. It was a miracle that this went on for three years before someone fou

I could imagine his smirk as he said mockingly, “Another night of lover boy not being able to find sleep, huh?” I groaned, “Shut up.” He chuckled before asking, “Where are you?” “In my office.” I shut the mindlink and went back to Xoro but he had already retreated to the back corner of my mind. About five minutes later, I sniffed Darius outside my office before he knocked on the door. Sliding the door open, he stepped inside. His eyes moved to the glass in my hand and he groaned, “Ughh, I never thought I’d ever see the King of the North drowning in his sorrows like this.”

“I’m done playing games with you and the Italians. Just tell me what you need.” “Wow, X, you’re really different today,” Darius observed, leaning forward slightly. “You’re in a vulnerable position. I can’t handle seeing you like this. I’ve seen how you deal with women who try to get close to you—it’s pretty harsh. But this girl is different. I understand she’s your friend, but that doesn’t change who you are. You’ve fought in tough battles, and there’s no hint of gentleness in you. You manage to protect your own while showing no mercy to your enemies. It’s quite an impressive balance. You’re unlike any soldier I’ve ever had.” His smile was unsettlingly friendly, and he glanced down before me

I mumbled to myself. Darius was just about pronouncing judgement when Xander rushed in. “My Alpha, my sincere apologies. I would’ve returned sooner, but I wanted to do a thorough investigation before bringing you the facts.” He knelt on one knee just inches in front of Serena, which left Darius puzzled. “ What are you talking about Xander?” Suddenly, a group of men walked calmly into the room. A man with full hair sleeked back, spoke up. “Greetings Alpha Darius, it's been a while.” Serena’s face turned porcelain white as she seemed to recognize that baritone voice without even looking at his face.
