LIGHT AFTER DARK

LIGHT AFTER DARK

I’d sooner sleep under a bridge for the rest of my life! Brilliant dark eyes raked over her impassively. “Alrighty then... Go now, I have nothing more to say to you.” “Oh, but I do! I’m not finished yet,” Lara asserted with venom. “Three years ago, you came into my life like a dark shadow and you tried to destroy it. There is no human being alive whom I hate more than you! And why did you set out to wreck my life? Out of nothing more than arrogant vanity, selfishness, and lust. It didn’t matter to you that I was engaged to another man or that I loved that man. It didn’t matter that you might hurt him as much as you hurt me.”

Darkness

Darkness

"It's an immortality spell." She shook her head. "Not likely. Immortality is a myth. You'd have to be a god to do that. Is the darkness a god?" "I don't think so." My eyes shifted through more of the books. They all had one thing in common: the need for a blood relation of the person casting the spell or the person they were summoning. "So, If not immortality, then the darkness must be summoning a Grey. Are they trying to summon my mother?"

Light & Darkness: Book 1

Light & Darkness: Book 1

Or at least in most stories, each of them is considered rather evil creatures, children of Darkness. But there are stories where even messengers of Light, beings who should deal better with temptation than we, weak humans, sometimes succumb to the power of the Darkness. There are also times when the children of the Darkness discover such feelings as love, which in turn draws them to the Light. Many times the being from Light connects with the one from Darkness, creating a beautiful, but always very sad and desperate love story - because in most cases neither Light nor Darkness want their representatives to mix with each other.

CEO Vampire & His Secretary

CEO Vampire & His Secretary

A way to escape the truth that was consuming him from within. Because he was scared. He couldn’t imagine himself without her. The Darkmoor library was a mausoleum of knowledge and shadows. Shelves stretching from floor to ceiling held volumes bound in human leather, some older than entire empires. The scent of old paper, melted wax, and dried blood hung in the air like perfume. Lucian entered. The light from a few candelabras flickered, casting his elongated shadow across the walls. He closed the door and stopped in the center of the room, running his hand over his face once more.

The Lycan's Obsession

The Lycan's Obsession

Xenos slowly got up from the chair and began walking towards it, his eyes gleaming with excitement. “Is this the book of light you were referring to?” I asked, hardly able to contain my excitement. Xenos took a good, hard look at it. “Indeed it is. But as I should have guessed, it is now the book of dark.” We all gathered around the box, examining the book inside curiously. “I remember the last time I saw this book it was a dark shade of brown. Now it looks…pitch black.” Xenos nodded, “The dark magic took hold of the book as well.”

I absolutely love this book. All the twists and turns were so worth the wait. I’m so glad that Celia and Jasper both received what they truly wanted. I would also love to read more about their life after marriage and kids.
Maxine Torres
Enjoyed this book so much I want more! Please, please, please write an epilogue or sequel where we see Jasper and Celia as parents. Edriel and Dracken finding there mates. The king playing with his grandchildren.

Scarred Roses, Burning Vengeance

Scarred Roses, Burning Vengeance

When he started to climb in, I followed, and was led into a maze of darkness that involved following a pathway that brought me into a room that had the same sort of light as the basement—a single, illuminating presence, hanging above all. “We Blackwoods own a dark secret, you see. By day we are businessmen in so many businesses that no one can actually say what it is we do. People hear of the Blackwood chain of companies and think of one of the biggest businesses ever known to them. But at night, like now…” Suddenly, more lights shone in the room, and I was surprised by what I saw in the room.

Their Dark Fantasy

Their Dark Fantasy

I could feel Astari's reluctance in not wanting me to go further. “What is it, Astari?” I said to her, “Velkrin!” She yelled. “Impossible, Astari,” I replied to her. “Velkrins cannot be inside the castle.” Velkrins are ancient and dark beings without form. They are like shadows, consuming the souls of people, turning them into dead skeletons. What was peculiar about them was that they were controlled by vampires, wolves' natural rivals. So, wherever one was found, a vampire was close by.

Beyond the Rub (Tales of a masseuse)

His rugged features, weathered from age, still held a charm that drew me in. But sometimes, like now, I feel trapped in this gilded cage. "I have everything I need right here," I replied, forcing a smile, and I felt guilty immediately. Gavin had given me literally everything; security, luxury and a sense of belonging. Wealth flowed through my lineage. Having more would definitely do no harm, but as I gazed into Gavin’s eyes, I saw deep loneliness, a hunger for connection that I, Christiana Leonard, couldn’t fulfill. He was fifty-six and not yet married.

Iridian

“The darkness remembers all who traffic in it.” The Dain I had slowly become used to, the one whose hand squeezed my hip, he was tucked away. Alexandria Russo gave no reaction other than a coy smile, “Hard not to traffic in darkness when the largest underground nightclub in the world rests in your hands. Though, I suppose trafficking in darkness is better than becoming a part of it, wouldn’t you agree, my king?” “Oh, I don’t know.” He mused; his voice dangerously calm. “People think the dark will protect them and all their little secrets. It’s true, of course, but once you become one with the darkness, you can see right through it.”

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

The Guardians- Life and Death

The Guardians- Life and Death

’ Elize thought *********** Dark noticed that in the other house, two women and one man were staring at him. He even frowned when he saw the man's familiar face. "Dark." Dark looked at Trans. He's got Black cards "It's morning," Dark complains. "You know that each second many people die in this world." Says Trans. Dark switched off the treadmill, then wiped off the sweat and approached Trans. He took six black cards and went through them one after the other.
