I sank down, leaning back against the cushions, pulling my legs up slightly as if that small movement could shield me from the weight of everything I had just read. The ring was still in my hand. The letter was still nearby. And the urge to keep reading was still there—stronger than before. Despite the fear curling in my stomach, despite the unease pressing in from all sides, my fingers moved again. I clicked another link. Then another. Page after page. Story after story. Each one darker, older, more disturbing than the last. The deeper I went, the creepier it became. And still— I couldn’t stop.

V. Drax strolled toward his car in the underground garage, softly humming a tune to himself when the overhead fluorescent lights began to flicker. He glanced up at the erratic lighting but kept walking, trying to ignore the eerie sensation that had gripped him. The previous night, a man had nearly strangled him in his sleep. Drax had fought back, but the intruder was unusually strong and strangely scentless, dressed entirely in black. The intruder had vanished out of his window when Drax raised an alarm.

**In the Depths of Darkness** Esteria's consciousness drifted in a world of cold shadows, the icy tendrils of darkness tightening their grip around her soul. She could feel it, the malevolent force trying to consume her entirely, to drag her into an abyss from which there would be no return. Her breath came in ragged gasps, her strength ebbing away with each passing moment as the darkness clawed at her, relentless in its pursuit of her very essence. The void around her seemed alive, writhing with sinister intent. It whispered to her, voices that were neither human nor demon, echoing her deepest fears and regrets. *You are nothing...* they hissed. *You are weak... You will fail...*

Chapter 23: A Descent into Darkness The cavern walls trembled with a violent force, a massive crack splitting open at the base of the chamber. A swirling vortex of inky blackness pulsed within the tear, tendrils of darkness reaching out like grasping claws. From the vortex, shadowy figures emerged, their forms shifting and morphing, defying any attempt at recognition.

I want to relish longer in it and quench my forlorn a whit, but there’s something foul tainting her purity. She’s in duress. I descend like a bullet, smashing through aged concrete and bricks, drilling with immense speed as I run my way down the many levels of the building until I crash into a sturdy flooring that seems to carpet over the maddening stench of rancid demonic aura. Darklings; a numerous amount of them. I crash through the floor like ripping through paper, deftly landing on the soles of my shoes with my frame crouched a little. Harsh sinister whisperings are on a rampant fuss around me as I deliberately rise slowly, linking my mind to Kitra’s strained one.

I turned back again and tried to shake off the feeling, but it only grew stronger with each step I took. Suddenly, I heard a blood-curdling scream right in front of me. I froze, unable to move or breathe as a ghastly shadowy apparition materialized before me. It had a pale, almost translucent body that seemed to flicker in and out of existence but it was dark , like the shade of coal. I was rubbed my eyes hard to determine if it was real or I was imagining. But the apparition let out another ear-piercing scream before disappearing into thin air, almost hitting me on my forehead as I fell back on the ground , screaming.

A blinding light burst forth, and Darius howled in pain. But just as victory seemed within their grasp, the ground beneath them shook violently. Luna stumbled, her heart pounding in her chest. She looked down to see an ominous crack snaking its way towards her. She tried to step back, but the crack widened, swallowing her leg up to her knee. Panic surged within her as the ground crumbled beneath her, threatening to drag her down into an abyss of darkness. "No!" Lycan shouted, his eyes widening in horror. He sprinted towards Luna, desperately reaching out for her, but it was too late. The ground collapsed, and Luna vanished into the depths, consumed by the Darkness.

Lil Wayne’s track, Pussy, Money, Weed, was playing from the background stereo in the car. He had driven it from the streetlight that was reflecting so massively to a dark spot that had just a dim blue light, such that a passerby wouldn’t notice two individuals were fucking in the car.

Which is why I haven’t been using it ever since I started writing 1001 Dark Tales. Yes, I could have written it quicker, but 1001 Dark Tales are dark romance tales. I’m not ashamed of anything I write, but I would rather not act out the scenes with three males who I don’t even know their names or what they look like. I push those thoughts away as I put the quill down and grabbed my other manuscripts, leafing through them. Each of them was only partly done and would benefit from using the quill on them. Before I could pull one out, though, I heard a knock at my door.

In this Dark World, I have no one, No family, No friends, No love, and No father. When my father heard about me, becoming a murderer. He collapsed on the ground, outside of the lock-up and never stood up. He is still sleeping in heaven, looking at me, praying for my safety with my mother. Your Honour! Lawyers! And court person, You all know that the Dark world has beasts, Monsters, Devils, Demons, and Hades but they are old now and only appear in fairytales. Do you know why? because Humans are worse than them.
