The Shadow Guard

The Shadow Guard

Vic started. “We’ve checked their home, there is no scent of them anywhere, at all.” Mimi continued. “It’s like…they never existed. Vic finished. “Are the teams ready?” Kydence asked as they walked down some stairs and into a huge conference room and there stood fifty Shadow warriors dressed in black from head to toe, the only part of their body to be seen was their eyes, even then they used black contacts. They couldn’t allow anyone to know who they are and what they look like. Any little thing could identify them. They took no chances.

Death of Vampires (Book #2 of BTCO)

Death of Vampires (Book #2 of BTCO)

The three members of dark-shadows all have long black hairs that reached up to their backs which they left flowing. Their body is one built like a strong tower and they leave their chest bare while their trousers hung just below their waist. Dark shadows are known for fornication and they never really have anything good to do since the split of the covens. Their coven is like a brothel. But despite it, they are still one of the strongest covens and that is because of their special ability of not been seen when they don’t want to.

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

I thought that I saw it wrong. I looked at the time, and it was only 9:00 p.m. James liked to play games and he had never logged off the game before midnight. What happened today? He didn’t say anything. He just sat there and was in a sulk. I turned on his computer and logged into his account of Wolf. As soon as I went online, I saw this system prompt: “Congratulations to player Lucifer four completing the first kill of the Dark Shadow Instance.” I smiled faintly and said in a low voice, “Another first kill of her.”

One good thing about this story is that the FL not only has a doting boyfriend but also a doting mother-in-law. Loved reading this very positive love story of a badass FL. one complaint would be this book needs a lot of corrections. It is a bit messy.

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

“One must willingly surrender their greatest love. Only then will the relics unleash their true power to destroy the shadow for good.” Before anyone could respond, the ground quaked violently. The shadow entity, larger and more menacing than before, surged into the chamber. Its smoky tendrils lashed out, forcing the group into a defensive stance. “I grow tired of this game!” the shadow roared, its voice echoing like a storm. “Give me the relics, or I will consume your very souls.” Wickham stepped forward, his weapon raised. “You’ll have to go through me first!” The shadow laughed darkly. “Bravery without power is foolishness.” It lunged, a tendril wrapping around Wickham’s arm and flinging h

He powered it on, frowning when a video file automatically played. Shadow’s face appeared on the screen, his features obscured by a hood and shadowy lighting. His voice was low and mocking. “Well done, Moretti. I knew you’d find this place. But you’re still three steps behind me.” Zane’s jaw tightened, his fists clenching. “This game isn’t over,” Shadow continued. “And when it ends, you’ll wish you’d never started it.” The screen went black, leaving Zane and Alex staring at each other.

“Don’t make me hurt you, Sierra.” “It was a man named Ian. He used to be Willow’s neighbor. He has been demanding compensation from Willow for his father’s death, but Willow refuses to give his family any more money. H-He plans to trick Willow into a secluded place and record a compromising video to blackmail her. It’s all Ian’s idea. I just helped with the location.” “Smack!” Roy swung his hand, knocking Sierra sideways. She fell to the ground, her ears ringing violently from the blow.

Shadows of Solitude

Shadows of Solitude

The morning light filtered weakly through the curtains, casting fractured patterns on the floor — much like my thoughts, splintered and jagged. I sat at the small kitchen table, clutching my cup of cold coffee, staring at the leather-bound book *Reflections of the Forgotten* open before me. The stories inside weren’t just tales — they were warnings, lessons written in sorrow and hope. Women who had lived as shadows, trapped in lives borrowed from others, fighting to reclaim their own reflections.

Shadows In Steel

The baton connected with the back of my neck, hard and final. Pain exploded through me, fast and blinding. My body gave in instantly, strength draining out like it was never mine to begin with. My knees buckled. The wall slipped away. Voices turned distant. Blurred. And just like that... Darkness took over.

Shadows of Betrayal

Amelia asked, looking surprised. "Yeah, but nobody knows about it," I said. "Maybe because it's a small company, where is it located so I can look up t it online?" Amelia asked. "In the outskirts of the midnight city. It's the biggest company ever built in the midnight city and its outskirts," I replied. "You mean the Greenwood company?" Amelia asked. "Yeah," I replied. "I don't believe you," Amelia said. "Get dressed so I can take you there, maybe you will believe me then," I replied as I watched Amelia stand up happily and rush into her room.
