She hissed at me as she went to open the door for our first pack Alpha. “Alpha Theodore Bronx, Alpha of the green woods pack, I brought my sons, Thomas and Timothy as one of my boys will be the next Alpha I hope you don’t mind Luna Riverwood.” A man’s voice said. I couldn’t see him from my seat but looking to Charlotte this was the reason she was here tonight. “Welcome Alpha, come on in. We are having everyone come to the sitting room to meet her so please follow me.” I heard the Luna’s voice come down the short hallway. I stood not wanting to but trying to make this go as well as it could. A tall man with black hair followed the Luna into the sitting room, I of course recognized the boys

The four wolves behind him looked at each other and bristled. Amid the darkness of night, where the moonlight barely penetrated the lush roof of leaves, a large and majestic figure made its presence. The five wolves of the gray pack unconsciously stepped back. The animal before them commanded respect from every inch of their being. Its very black fur glowed despite being lost in the dark, its size above average, the muscles that were marked in its thick legs and chest and those two silver orbs that differentiated it from any of its kind. Hades, alpha of the silver pack, was simply impressive.

"Something's wrong." We race to the walls where chaos greets us. Three of our patrol wolves are down, not dead but unconscious. Standing over them is a figure in a red hood. "Delivery for the Silver Moon Wolf," the figure says, their voice distorted. They throw something at my feet - a crystal vial filled with swirling silver liquid. "What is it?" I ask. "A gift from the Collector. And a message: Drink this, and you'll understand everything. Your true power, your destiny, how to control it. Don't drink it, and next time, these wolves won't wake up."

I turned a few more pages and stopped; “Characteristics: They appear fairly normal in their human form, except for their silver hair.” I was a bit shocked by this. I touched my own hair in suspicion, unsure whether to believe it, before continuing; “Their blood is metallic silver as well.” Well, that was certainly not my case. My blood was anything but silver. There was no possible way for me to be a Silver Blood. I wasn’t even a real werewolf. I sighed. I read on; “Their wolf forms are larger than the average wolf. They are faster and possess a healing ability that regenerates at the rate of a hundred.”

The marking was complete, the oaths were sworn, and the moon was our witness. Adrian turned us toward the pack, raising our joined hands high into the air. "The Luna of Silver Fang!" he roared. The forest erupted. Thousands of wolves shifted in a single, fluid motion, their silver and gray furs reflecting the moonlight as they threw their heads back and howled. The sound was ancient and powerful, a song of loyalty and celebration that shook the very ground beneath our feet.

The creature opened its mouth and let out a sound halfway between a howl and a word. A word. Spoken in a voice that was ragged and ancient: “Hale...” Her name. She froze. It knows me? The creature took a step forward. Then another. But this time, it didn’t look like it was hunting her. It looked like it was... reaching out. Before she could react, the ground trembled. A flash of silver light burst from the archway behind the creature. A second figure erupted from the trees smaller, faster. This one was fully animal, all sinew and teeth. It slammed into the standing figure with a feral snarl. They rolled together, biting and clawing.

POV: Ash Ryder "Get out of my way, you mindless filth, or I’ll paint this ice with whatever rot you have for blood!" Ash’s voice was no longer the steady, commanding baritone of the Silverfang Alpha. It was a jagged, raw snarl that vibrated with a terrifying lack of restraint. He lunged forward, his silver dagger flashing in a lethal arc as it sank into the neck of a Shadow-beast. The creature, a twisted mass of smoke and elongated bone, didn't even have time to hiss before Ash ripped the blade sideways, decapitating it with a spray of violet ichor that sizzled against the frozen ground.

Adrian swung his gun toward the stairwell. “Strike squad! They’ve found us!” Dozens of shadows surged upward hunters in silver armor, moving too fast and, too precise to be human. Crowe tilted his head slightly, silver light flashing in his eyes. “Not mine. They’re Silver Hounds bio-soldiers bred by Dr. Alaric.” Evelyn sprang up, thumbed the safety, and let three rapid rounds fly. One creature toppled, but instead of red the blood shimmered silver, hissing as it slicked across the concrete.

He growled and moved to my left flank, swiping at me, luckily I was prepared and he missed me, he was definitely faster than the others. Doing another attack and swiping at his lower abdomen, taking a chunk of his flesh with me, blood pooled at my fingertips as well as dripping from his stomach. He took a step back from me, shocked that I could probably parry with him, “I'm not just a little girl, I am a silver blood, a species that was meant to bring your kind to justice and that is what I am going to accomplish.” After declaring, Hughes gnashed his teeth and attacked once again, this time slower than before.
