I suddenly felt rather possessive of him, I wasn’t lost on the way women looked at him, or at Derek for that matter. We got their building and said our good nights, with Heath taking my suitcases. We got into his place and even though he’d shown it to me on video chat, I had to laugh. “Yeah this place needs a woman’s touch all right, there’s no color, nothing pretty! You need some light blues or some yellows in here. Seriously like who picked brown curtains, damn.” He laughed, “I did, little Miss! Chapter 1: Dysfunctional family. The darkness is nothing more than a test that God gives us, many times to overcome things and learn from it, but in the end we all carry that darkness in our hearts, we just have to decide whether to expel it or let it dwell within you. Charlotte is a girl who has been in the dark since she was born, her parents were shitty to her, she was beaten and mistreated unjustifiably simply because her parents wanted it that way, but to understand a little of this story we must return to the past.

"I'll ask you one last time. Why did you betray us?" The man on the throne-like chair leaned forward and folded his hands as he looked at his prey in the eye. His forest green eyes were barely devoid of any emotion. His chestnut brown hair was disheveled and his dark blue tie lay loosened around his neck. Even if he did not show any emotion, a dark and dangerous air filled the room, forcing everyone to suck in a deep breath. The beast was about to unleash its wrath and they could only pray to stay alive at the end of the day and watch the sunrise again.

He said. “You were right.” Lucas said. “The bitch can walk in daylight. That’s why they’re going after the werewolf packs. To make more day walkers.” I said. “Day walkers that can shift into werewolves but have the thirst of a vampire.” Aria said. “Oh, we are so screwed.” I said. “Don’t worry. “Bingo.” I set my eyes on it and walk right through, emerging into a narrow hall. The blue light glows above me, reflecting off the metal bars of an old-fashioned jail cell. Something glows from within, and I have to move a few steps closer before I realize it’s a UV heat lamp, much like one you’d put in a reptile cage. “Dina,” I say, seeing her outline huddled against the back of the cell, shielding her face from the UV light. She looks up and the skin on her cheeks chars.
