As comfortable as the bed was, I wasted no time in jumping out of it. Daryl took me through a narrow path behind the palace and at the end of it stood the oldest tree in the forest. Its trunk was so enormous that twenty grown werewolves couldn't have wrapped their arms around it. Golden vines spiraled toward the sky, disappearing into clouds that glowed with silver light. I change into a comfier outfit and make my way to hell. I call my dragon Ofelia and ask her to take me to the middle of the darkest forest. Once there I find the oldest tree and insert the key in its roots. A huge black hole opens and I jump in it without fear. It seems it is taking me forever to reach the ground, but I eventually land on a huge pile of ash. I clean my eyes so I can see, I am all dirty, covered in black, but I do not stop and make my way to Cade's castle.
